We had a lovely meal here on a Tuesday night before going to a concert nearby. Great food, good service, friendly staff. We will be back for a full night of food & drinks.

I had wanted to visit Gio for a while and it didn’t disappoint! Wonderfully helpful staff, lovely atmosphere and delicious food. My Mum would especially recommend the apple pie!

This place is absolutely amazing.. Everything you need fab food, amazing staff and drinks. The food quality is very good and everything is very reasonably priced. The staff are so accommodating we sometimes eat twice a week. Never been disappointed

Excellent Service and food. Our only mistake was we ordered too much food even though the final bill was very reasonable. We were also plied with extras like Onion Bajjis which were out of this world

My partner and I went for dinner on Friday evening, it was an accidental find actually, and so glad we did, the service was really friendly and efficient and the food ...excellent. We both had a lamb curry this time, and can't wait to go back and try the other tasty offerings on the menu!

Excellent , - belated 40th birthday treat for my daughter , with her hubby and 2 grandchildren , from St Helens . Great service from friendly attentative staff and a good time was had by all . My fav place , definitly back when i get the oppertunity .

Went in for dinner having booked on line. What a fantastic place! The ambience was so comfy and welcoming and the food was excellent. Short and interesting menu that was super tasty. The Slovakian lady manager was extremely helpful and generally lovely Recommend highly if want a casual place that is quirky, warm with great food. As it is open all day and with the second hand bookshop you could easily lose a wet afternoon over a pot of tea and good book
