Well that was a surprise, a really good one I must say, finding an excellent Mexican tucked away in Wigan. Nice place, great staff l, excellent menu and huge portions... what more can you want. I imagine at the end of restrictions it will be rocking

Me my partner and two children came on Saturday night for our sons birthday tea. A nice warm welcome from the staff on the door, fantastic service from the waitress who served us nothing was too much trouble and she was really polite. The food was amazing and large portions. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing service and staff were lovely. Food was really amazing. And the atmosphere was really relaxing and good. Me and my partner where really happy with our service and if we are in the area again would definitely come back here for a meal.

Really enjoyed everything about our visit. Food was lovely (and served hot), the team very attentive, nothing too much trouble.

It's the second time a group of us have met together for lunch, here, and both times have been lovely. The restaurant is nicely and quirkily decorated. The service is good. The menu choices are interesting - just that little bit different and the food comes nicely presented.

Best onion rings in many years Paying attention to details like these shows a culinary professionalism which was also reflected in the rest of the very tasty food we ordered. Compliments also to the welcoming service and the non-intruding way it was delivery by the team. We are new to the area, but The Fox will see a lot more of us, specifically in the very well laid out garden, where we hope the weather will allows next time to sit.

Food was nice as always but a glass of coke was knocked all over my girlfriend by the waitress, although we laughed it off cos we don’t like to cause a scene the waitress and who I think was the owner was making jokes, I’d never expect a free drink or a discount but just thought we might of gotten something other than jokes.

Not been in quite sometime, due to the current situation, but must say we where both glad i chose Mario's, the service was good, the food well words can not say, we where both satisfied with the portions, you won't go hungry. Highly recommended.

Excellent food and service as always- we have never been let down at the Fat Loaf, which is why it’s always a restaurant we’ll return to- the menu is imaginative, sourced locally and always tempting and the quality is excellent. The wines are also paired very well. Thanks again and we’ll be back

A wonderful little gem of a restaurant - the food is outstanding and the service is too. This was our second time and we'll definitely be back again soon!

The change of venue from the old premises hasn’t changed what makes A Tav special, and may even have enhanced it. Food was impeccable and well priced. Atmosphere was lively. Service pleasant. If you haven’t tried it out yet, get it booked. Don’t pass on dessert, you’ll be missing out
