Home Sweet Home – Northern QuarterLovely place, food plentiful and tastes amazing, staff warm and friendly, would go again defo.
Mazzo – RoytonGreat night with great food!! We were party of 7 and right from the get go we were looked after! The Spanish waitress was attentive and recommended the Mexican street food! My wife had the veg enchilada and I had the steak! Believe it or not I had food envy :/ all our table couldn't believe we haven't had a night there before, as when we were thinking where to go we all decided to stay as the place was pumping upstairs!!The atmosphere was awesome! We'll be back!!
El Capo – Northern QuarterHad a great night at El Capo on Saturday night. Food, atmosphere and drinks all spot on. We will be back!
El Capo – Northern QuarterGroup of 12 of us went for a work do and the food was amazing! The staff were lovely, would definitely recommend to a friend! Looking forward to my next visit!!!!
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreBrilliant evening meal was delish and staff so friendly. Will be definitely be going back.
Mezze Italian Restaurant – OldhamFabulous food and service, definitely worth a visit.
THE Chinese Buffet – BuryWent to this new place for an early dinner and were mightily impressed, I have to say. The attention to detail from the greeters onwards is spot on and they have clearly spent a great deal of money on the design and execution. The food is Pan-Asian but we stuck to Japanese and had lovely sashimi and teppanyaki. Would highly recommend Sakana.
Sakana – Manchester City CentreGreat food great service, I just love going. Went there with my daughter and family for my birthday, my 4 year old grandson was catered for too. I would recommend to anyone.
Thaikhun Street Buffet – Trafford CentreBest mixed grill ever.
Haddon Hall Hotel – DroylsdenRecently visited Frankie and Benny's on Salford Quays and I must say very disappointed! Service was terrible, although the girl who served us was lovely it was clearly a struggle for her to be working what seemed alone. We waited over half an hour just for 2 pepsi's ! My daughter ordered beans with her food it came with salad! We said we wanted beans we then got brought veg! She finally got her beans after she had eaten her meal and as you can imagine she didn't want them then! Within half an hour after leaving the restaurant both me and my friend was in agony and not off the toilet , I even had to take the day off work as I felt and still do feel awful!! Not what you want when you spend nearly £50 on a meal is it!!
Frankie and Bennys – Salford QuaysWe regularly have take aways from the Mala, and always enjoy them. Service is consistently excellent, and the guys are always friendly and courteous. We decided to have our Christmas dinner there this year- we had a choice between traditional Christmas dinner and curry. Our party of six chose both. It was absolutely delicious, and the staff were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble, and the atmosphere was great. I am vegetarian, and was treated to the most sumptuous banquet. Thank you so much!
Mala Indian Cuisine – BuryA beautiful looking restaurant! Its immaculately white, bright and airy. Love their pizza's too.
Croma – DidsburyGood food and warm , welcoming atmosphere. Staff friendly and attentive. Clean and good standards. Recently taken over, doing a great job or would have been yet another local pub shut down .
Queen Anne Gastro Pub – BuryAbsolutely beautiful. One of the best Italians I have been to in a very long time. The staff are so welcoming and polite. The food is gorgeous. I would 100% recommend Mazzo's.
Mazzo – RoytonLovely place to eat, especially the Meze for indecisive people like me. Cocktails are lush, and the staff are really polite
Olive & Vine Dimitris – DidsburyWe visited Dhanak Deira today at 18:15. Restaurant was quite to start with as one table of 3 was engaged when we got there. Soon it started filling up. Starters were good n wholesome. Speciality dishes like Nihari n Haleem were made authentically but were just warm. Informed the waiting person to turn on the burners, which he did. Lamb n Chicken Karahi dishes are actually dry masala dishes (not with runny gravy/curry). Biryani was cooked well but just warm. The dessert section lets the restaurant down as cakes selection was good but dry (frozen cakes which normally do end up dry once defrosted n left for a long time). Gulab Jamans ordered were very chalky in taste n were asked to be warmed up in microwave as not in a gravy boat with burner underneath. Tables were quickly tidied upby waiting person (European girl) but crumbs on the carpet were not taken care off which showed neglect n carelessness. This can be easily corrected by investing in an electric sweeper which is quiet n discreet way of housekeeping. Other thing that the restaurant can invest in is microfibre cloth to clean their glass tables as this would put the sheen back into the glass as it cleans n polishes the surface at the same time. Additionally this cloth is machine washable at 60 degrees (available at Asda 4 for £1).. Overall, restaurant felt cold as there is no central heating (we are assuming here) as electric heaters were available on request. Dessert section to be reviewed n revised along with house keeping issues to move the restaurant to next level..
Dhanak Deira – BoltonWhat a find. Asked a knowing looking soul where best to grab a quick bite with wifi in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. Loved the menu, homespun American comfort food classics in a contemporary style. A real hearty portion of Sun Devil Scrambler was devoured. Will be forever my pitstop in the NQ.
