Nipped in today for a coffee. Turns out it was their opening day. A stunning looking venue in an art deco style. Perfect location by all the best shops. French food and wine that I am very much looking forward to trying.

Now that was a fine and very satisfactory luncheon. Beef and Pudding has just opened it's welcoming doors and has it spot on. Plenty of beef as you would expect, with a British heritage rather than an American one which pleased me. I had a excellent beef and venison suet pudding and my wife the Beefham Tower burger which was the best burger we can remember having. Looking forward to working our way through the menu. The Manc Plank and The Manchester Meet will be next on the list, however that will be a dinner date or I would need an afternoon nap with meat sweats!

Absolutely fantastic venue, very clean, Warm, Inviting family area excellent décor. New Chef "Martin" making things happen, highly talented excellent home cooking. Looking forward to our next visit, thank you to all the team.

Visited for a birthday dinner on April 1st, but we were the April fools. Food was over priced and under sized. The room was so cold that the tiny tealight on the table was the only source of heat! The bar was unable to supply the basic J2O drink of Orange and Passionfruit, someone else must have had the"last drop "! Never again!

Really enjoyed the food tried several tapas and you could tell they was good home cooked food, the restaurant is lovely inside and the staff are nice, I went in my scruff as I had just finished work but still got a warm welcome.

I love it here. The interior is fab, the atmosphere is relaxed and the food is great. Hoping to go on Mothers Day.

We hadn't visited this long established restaurant in a while but it's still a great place. Excellent food, great service even on a busy Saturday evening. Price isn't bad either. There was also a decent looking special menu at a tenner a head for three courses, available any time(when we visited). Takeaway service too. Street parking nearby.

I booked a table for Saturday 22nd March 10 days in advance. When we arrived at 5.50 pm there was a large number of people - about 15 - all standing waiting to be seated. ABout 10 past six a party who had booked for 5.30 and were still waiting decided to leave. At this stage people who had booked for 5.45pm gave up and left. As we were attending the theatre and time was running short we left at 6.20 still waiting for a table. What a disgraceful state of affairs. We had stood for half an hour and never even got to see our booked table much less have a meal. We then had to go and find somewhere else before our show started in a rush and very disgruntled. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Dined here on the recommendation of Sugarvine. Great meal and great value. Lobster for £17 with refills for my chips and salad!

We were exhibiting at the next stand to Sugarvine at the NRB show and asked for a recommendation for a Chinese in the city centre. We were delighted with the meal. will go again when in Manchester!

Been 4 times so far the food and service are superb, this is the best Indian restaurant I have been to, give it a try...

Best biryani in Manchester. We travel all the way from North Wales just to eat at Shaygan Halal Takeaway, 153 Dickenson Road, Manchester and it is well worth the 1 hour journey as the food is authentic and delicious.

We called in for a family meal last November midweek on a quiet night. 4 Adults and 2 children and as the food was so undercooked including the children’s burger which was cold and red in the middle and all the chips still hard and cold veg, we felt the food was unsafe to eat. The menu had also changed and the quality of the food seemed poor (which can be down to cut backs by the group and not the fault of the location). Due to the large amounts of food we left on our plates we were asked by the waitress if there was a problem which we explained; but as the Manager was not on site there was nothing she could do.I had already made a reserved booking for just before Christmas so the next day I phoned to cancel this booking and spoke to the Manager, who truly seemed concerned that we had been serviced uncooked meat and said she would ring us in January to see if the family would like to return.. we never received the call..

Visited on 8th June 2013. Four diners. Starters and meals plus wine. Great value and excellent food. Renato is great host and very accomodating. The cheesey garlic bread is the best ever. Food is piping hot and very well presented. I have a good appetite and was more than happy with the dish sizes. The wine was very good as well. Will definately go again. Well done Renato and Giuseppe
