The food was fantastic and introduced me to a cuisine I’d never tried before. The owner was a delight and his recommendations were spot on. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreBrilliant authentic Italian restaurant. Superb service from lovely helpful staff. Great menu at really good value for two courses. Great food.. never been disappointed.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreGreat place for pre theatre meal. Nice food friendly efficient staff. Quick service.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreWe love this place! The food is excellent, the staff attentive, and there's always a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit and make sure you have the pasta.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreReally enjoyed our first visit. Excellent food and drinks. Great service from friendly and knowledgeable server.
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreI would never eat here or recommend anyone else to. the food may well be good, so I have given that the benefit of the doubt in my score. however the owner is a rude, ignorant and ill mannered gentleman.
La Casita – ChorltonLovely restaurant where we ate before a concert. Service was prompt but not rushed and we felt we had time to really enjoy the food. Food was lovely - we had the two-course deal and there was plenty of choice, good value for the price. We booked for five o'clock and were out by six-thirty, in plenty of time for our concert at 7.30. The staff were very courteous and efficient. Thank you
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreVery disappointing
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreI go to Gio's fairly regularly, usually prior to a concert at the Bridgewater Hall. Last night I enjoyed another excellent meal - freshly cooked salmon with a marinara sauce. The food was piping hot and very tasty. Service, as always, was friendly, professional and swift.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreFirst time in the restaurant after a spur of the moment booking, but wasn't disappointed! Great food, great service, will definitely be back!
Chakalaka – Manchester City CentreHad a lovely steak cooked to perfection and the tiramisu was light and satisfying. My only gripe is they put an optional 10% gratitude on the bill. It’s hard not to pay when they inc this in the total outstanding balance? Also my mum asked for a glass of Prosecco and the waiter suggested the pink one! We didn’t realise until the bill came that it was the most expensive drink! I know this was my mums fault but I don’t think they should recommend drinks to you. They should give you the menu if you are unsure on what type of drink to have.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreCame on Saturday night and had a lovely night food was delicious will definitely be back
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWe came here before a theatre trip on 27th April. I'll first start by saying the staff were lovely, and were doing a good job considering it was so busy. However the food was disappointing. The starters were average; it was the main courses that were the biggest problem. Two of us ordered the rib eye steak; one of the steaks turned up bloody - and mixed with the peppercorn sauce didn't look particularly appetising. It was very thin and bright red when it was cut into. Most bites contained a piece of fat so it was left. The other steak was ordered plain and lacked any sort of taste which seemed odd for a rib eye. Another diner ordered a pizza which arrived looking like it had barely been cooked, so this was another meal that wasn't finished. May be we were unlucky this time, we'd actually planned to eat off the A La Carte menu but were told on arrival we couldn't order from this until 18:45 (our meal was booked for 6pm as the show was starting at 19:30). If I'd known this prior to arrival I wouldn't have made a reservation as the pre-theatre menu was limited. To summarise: the staff were great and did an excellent job considering the restaurant was practically full, however the food was awful.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreBeen here 3 times and never been disappointed. Staff even remembered us! Lovely warm welcome and food excellent again. Service friendly and efficient, ideal when you are on a time scale for visiting the theatre. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
Giorgios – Manchester City CentreWent here on Tuesday night with my daughter in law, my 3 grandchildren and my wife. We had various starters and everyone was cooked to perfection. We then had the Braza sharing platters. We had 2 of these. They were meant for 4 people but there was more than enough for 6 of us. My grandson and I had the Braklava sweet with ice cream. It was to die for. Service throughout was excellent. Will certainly will be going back again.
Braza – Boltonwhat a fab place! amazing food
James Martin Manchester – Manchester City Centre2 courses for £16.95, food and choices for the pre theatre menu ( up to 6.45) very good with enough choice for starter and main service great. The drinks a were a bit expensive £30 for 4 drinks, small prosecco a bottle of Bud, a medium glass of red wine and a gin and tonic . The whole meal with tips cost us £83 it soons adds up Don't like the idea of 10% service charge added to the bill you can ask to remove it, I like to leave a tip in restaurants for good service etc and expect that restaurants pay their staff a reasonable wage which does not rely on tips. Overall good meal and atmosphere and service also close to the Bridgewater Hall theatre but might try somewhere else that doesn't automatically add 10%service charge.
Gio Ristorante – Manchester City CentreEasy online table booking, friendly and efficient staff, really enjoyed our pre theatre meal, look forward to our next visit. Thank you.
