Glad to hear that it wasn't just us Pat Morris, my original review also seems to have conveniently dissappeared! Still no response to our complaint from anyone at the restaurant, I give this place a year or two maximum before its closed. They obviously don't care about their customers.

Me,and my wife. Have been here,on numerous occasions.and this. Surpasses all of the local. Carverys in our area.staff are very. Helpful, and polite.would recommend to anyone.

I went with three others on a Saturday night. The food was delicious, the service was great and it was very reasonably priced. It's the best Indian restaurant I've been to recently and I'm booking to go again soon.

On our visit the restaurant was very busy and yet we could not fault it. Food was on time the service was excellent. Waiters were friendly and helpful. I had chicken madras and I can say it's the best madras I have had in a long time. Would recommend.

Beautiful restaurant, Party of 8 of us went there. Enjoyed the food and service, waiters are friendly and relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Can't wait to return !

Amazing. Heard lots of good things about it and visted for the first time last night. it was even better than expected. Delicious (authentic) pizza, great service, friendly, welcoming and warm atmosphere (literally - wood oven). and extremely good value. I can't recommend highly enough. It's now my no. 1 eatery in Chorlton and there are lots of them round here!

Best dining experience ever. They've turned the old Toy Box into a palace! Stunning. Food was out of this world and presented like a work of art by genuinely, lovely, down to earth staff, never too busy to have a laugh and joke with you. Totally recommended and not expensive either. Can't wait to go again :)

Best kept secret. At the Stables all food is made from scratch on site. The flavours of the food are light and tasty. The sauces complement very well. Portion sizes are good. Staff are very polite and your not rushed. The menu is updated on a regular basis. Your missing out on a fantastic dinning experience. We look forward to returning soon.

We visit The Owls nearly every week because the service and staff are great. The food is brilliant and served quickly ,the price can't be better anywhere around Wigan. Me and my family try lots of different restaurants but still put The Owls at the top of the list for the full package mentioned above.

Really enjoyed my first time here,went mid week and fantastic value for money and excellent food. Definitely going again.

This place has Food Hygiene and Safety' issues, so I would avoid and try somewhere else. Staff handle money, touch the piercing on their face (yes, its still there), have a good scratch of their shoulder (under their shirt) and then pick up your food without using the utensils. Disgusting... basic hygiene please.

Went on Thursday 18th, service was quite slow even though not very busy, were told when we tried to order that they had no chicken wings, no meatballs and no spaghetti bolognese (great for an Italian restaurant!). Other food ordered was average, no better. Overall disappointing experience.

Enjoyed a good night out on my daughters birthday. Waiter was friendly and polite. Good service good food. KEEP IT UP! !!
