Red Chilli – Manchester City CentreOur most favourite dining place. We simply have fallen in love the the place! Food is wonderful, the service attentive and tailored to each customer's need. For us, we like a slow paced dining experience, so we can talk and laugh and put the worlds to rights - so to speak... Yet others (as we have observed) want a dining experience at a more faster pace, and so Sue and the team oblige. Wonderful, just wonderful! As you can tell by our review here, this is our most frequented and loved restaurant. Clara and I just want to thank the Kantipur team for making us feel special... And, appreciated and welcomed. This review is our way of showing you that we are grateful to giving us a place, an Oasis even, to visit for wonderful food, service and atmosphere. We most definitely will be back very soon, Oh and a warm big thank you for the complimentary tasters such as the Fried Fish... WOW!
Kantipur – StockportExcellent service and a warm welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic value for money. will certainly be visiting again !!
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonI thought the owner was very snooty (his name is Max). The pub is not child friendly and the owner didn't seem to want children in his pub. The food was expensive, lots off football jobs in as well.
The Victorian – Bramhallfantastic people, fantastic food. good price. all home made whats not to like? 5*'s
The Coven – WiganWhat an absolutely fantastic evening we had at Bistro West 156! It was my first visit and certainly won't be the last. Everything was excellent. Sean was a very attentive host and nothing was too much trouble. As for the food! WOW. Really tasty food that was not too OTT but was certainly a change from the norm. Very generous portions and beautiful flavours. The cosy, intimate atmosphere coupled with great food and excellent service makes Bistro West 156 a welcome change to the majority of restaurants out there - others should set their bar at this standard - outstanding!
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyWorst service ever!! Average food!! Rude waiters that make you feel uncomfortable and rushed!! Thought maybe it was a one off....went in the 2nd time and it was worse!! Will never go in to eat again!!
Red Lounge – AudenshawI went to Coriander on Monday with my flatmate. I can honestly say it was the best curry I have had in Manchester. I had a Chicken Chilli Massalla. The portion was bigger than you usually get, it wasn't oily, and it was downright delicious. My flatmate was also impressed with his Jal Frezi. The breads were fresh and the consistency was brilliant. I'll be forgetting about the curry houses in West Didsbury from now on. This is a gem
Coriander – ChorltonFANTASTIC 5 STAR FOOD AND SERVICE GOOD VALUE PLEASANT ATMOSPHERE WILL GO AGAIN AND AGAIN YUMMMMMMMY
The Strawbury Duck – BoltonHighly recommended, great place to have best Thai food in Liverpool, been many times. It's rated 2nd in the top 10 Liverpool restaurants. Perfect view for a date, family or a birthday celebrations...
Chaophraya – Manchester City Centreme and my mum visit the white lion EVERY weekend without fail! it is our favourite place to eat out. a brilliant menu of traditional meals and also more exotic dishes, i have never had a bad meal there! the service is excellent, the atmosphere is great and the location and settings are beautiful! i would highly recommend the lancashire salad (with blue cheese and black pudding), the antipasti (a sharer for two) and the ploughmans washed down with their pino grigio white wine!! brilliant!
White Lion – Wiganvisited with a party of 4 people for a birthday meal. we all opted for the 3 course meal special. there was a large choice of meals off the set menu and further options on the special board. we each ordered a different dish which all the group fully enjoyed. excellent staff and cosy atmosphere. would highly recommend .will be returning in feb for another birthday celebration
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyOn the 24th of January my sister my mum and my bother inlaw took me to dine for the first time at the Bistro, there are not enough words of praise or recommendation I can give..service is so important to me,Kim our server, was just wonderful, charming helpful, with a full restaurant, nothing was a hassle for her,the food, well please go it will speak for its self,I eat very little and so healthy,I ate three courses and not too healthy,I just wanted the whole menu, and host,he was cooking, then took time to come out to mingle with customers,it was my Birthday,so he made my dessert special,I overheard him making a young couple welcome, there first time to the bistro, now this guy was cooking and running the show, they have a great recipe,it seems its a family business,a great combination, very homely, but can be romantic, very special, please go try this venue,I will spread the word..my Birthday was made at the Bistro last night, thanks guys, Paul,Helen, and family x
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyWe recently held a party for forty people at the Stable Restaurant Hyde The canapes were amazing. The hot buffet delicious and the miniature desserts to die for.Everyone commented on the excellent quality of the food and service,Many said they would return People were coming and going all afternoon and as soon as they arrived hot fresh canapes appeared. The attention to detail was fantastic .This is certainly a place to hold a special event
Stables Restaurant – HydeThis an elegant restaurant offering really nice food and excellent wines within a gondoliers call of the main San Carlo. The portions are just enough, beautifully cooked and the service, when we called in was warming and welcoming. One added to our list for lunch and evening visits.
San Carlo Cicchetti – Manchester City CentreIf you want a lovely meal, served by lovely people, in a lovely environment then the Spice Garden is the place to go. It may be small but the Spice Garden has a great vibe and the food is always top quality. The family that run the Spice Garden are warm and friendly. I have recommended this place to friends, family and for business lunches and everyone thinks is fabulous. Wish there were more places like this!
Spice Garden – RamsbottomI recently visited the wayfarer this January, having not been here for a couple of years. I was surprised to find that there was also a Italian restaurant as well as the a la carte and pub area. i was bamboozled with which of the extensive menus to order from. A very polite young girl informed me that if we sat in the bar we could eat from all the menus, which pleased us all as we wanted different things. My son is a celiac and i was very impressed when i was told that they cater for celiacs and even had gluten free pasta! Something that many establishments do not take into consideration. I thought id try the "Famous wayfarer fish&chips" And it lived up to its name undoubtedly one of the nicest pieces of fish i've ever had, with homemade chips and mushy peas YUM! My wife wanted to try the seabass dish, which again was perfectly cooked and accompanied with a tasty potato cake and delicious cream sauce( may i add that the fillet was generous in size) My daughter loves her steaks and every time we go out to eat without fail she'll always order one. She was torn between the ribeye and the fillet and decided on the 10 oz Ribeye. She was not disappointed, she asked for it medium rare and it was cooked perfectly to her liking, tender and packed with flavour, served with hand cut chips, fresh seasonal veg and pepper sauce. We were all pretty full, but after the excellent mains we couldn't resist trying a couple of the homemade sweets to share. The sticky toffee pudding (a favourite of mine) was beautiful, but that was blown out of the water by the chefs lemon meringue pie. It was amazing, well worth the 10 minute waiting time for it to be freshly baked and the presentation was like a piece of artwork. After a few years of not visiting the wayfarer I'm glad we came back. As good, if not better than before! With more choice and friendly helpful staff. We will returning again soon! Highly recommended
