I have been visiting Nam Ploy now for well over a year, it is a stunning place and the food is out of this world. We eat out on a regular basis and there is few places we revisit but we are always drawn back to Nam Ploy. The Staff are lovely and the service is second to none, they make you feel really special. We have even been getting takeaways from there when we are not in the mood for going out. I think it has to be one of the best places to eat out in the area,it is simply stunning, they also have private dinning rooms. You must go and try it, as soon as you walk through the door you know its going to be a special gem of a restaurant.

Best kebab I've ever had!

we went too this so called award winning restaurant which was recommended from your site it was the worst three courses that myself & my wife have had. Also i am a chef so when the manager tried to make the excuse that is how it should be i just had to laugh. so please do not recommend this restaurant anymore.

The waiters are all spoiled French brats, who hardly ever lift a finger. I am disgusted by their behavior. The waiter who served my table called my wife a whore, when she tried to attract her attention.

food arrived cold, when i was brave and asked mine to be sent back it was returned with a bit mark in, my my i hope that was mine! upon leaving the manager seemed shocked that i thought it was unacceptable to have to send your food back before i enjoyed my meal, so if u don't mind the wait and like to look at, pick at and sample your food before u get to wait for it after yet another wait then please frequent here, oh did i mention the cost for what u get, hmm go across to the red robin and you'll get better food for two for the same cost as one meal at f and b's

this restaurant claims to be one of the best around, but i would say the food is bland, over cooked and poor quality and the wine...the white is warm, cheap plonk, beware the only thing tempting here is the set menu price but keep driving u'll come to better just down the road!

It was the worst 'Spanish' meal i have ever eaten and I would go as far as saying it was disgusting. The meatballs tasted like they had come out of a tin and the potatoes were covered in what looked like tomato soup, there was nothing Spanish about either dish. The presentation was dismal and the service was average at best. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone.

The food was delivered very quickly and tasted very fresh. I was later to be told all food is fresh and delivered daily and prepared on site. My sons food looked just as good and is also good to no he wasn't being filled with "rubbish" and unhealthy additives other brands are known for, and has not been micro-waved to the extremes.

Not one of the best chinese meals we've ever had - went post-theatre perhaps this was the downfall, never waited so long for crispy duck! Sept 2007

Great for familys, I have a two year old, very well catered for, they get a balloon, an activity pack, they don't mind when your child trys to demolish the place by flinging spaghetti. Very helpful staff. Been lots of times, menu to suit everyone, great kids one smaller portions and junior portions, very varied adult one with something for everyone, garlic mushrooms, to potato skins, to burgers to prawns.... puddings are fab. not rushed. great

I have been here to this restaurant since opening, it has always drove me mad that they are sooooooooooo over attentive. they've obviously not changed that. But the food is fantastic, still go, don't let over attentive staff put you off. It does make you feel a little awkward though. Don't put your knife and fork down though till you've finished eating hahahaha!!

We eat at Piccolino regularly and thoroughly enjoy the food and atmosphere. We like it that much that we have recently married and held our Wedding Reception at Piccolino Manchester. Ettore and the waiters made our day very special by providing us and our guests with first class food and service and we thank them very much for making our day a fabulous success.

Although I've enjoyed many nice meals here and found the service generally very good there is no escaping that Smiths is becomming tired.The menus are hit and miss ,repetitive and frankly dated-each month sees a variation on soup, heavy cream sauces, stodgy meats and the decor is in need of a spruce up. With competition like the new contemporary chinese restaurant next door I think it would be a shame for Smiths to lose out for believing in its own hype a little too much.

We Love Croma - fab pizza's, they always accommodate - no booking required, nice bar area. If you can't decide between the pizza toppings, they will do half and half! Good value for money and great atmosphere. MWHC girls who like to lunch

Really let down with the food this time around, I had a burger which was black on the outside and red in the middle! It tasted like it had been cooked a week ago and re heated! Not impressed as not the cheapest burger I have had! £11. Prawn starter also was a let down and was straight out of a freezer bag!

Wings Manchester, outstanding service ,superb atmosphere(v busy even on wed evening book ahead) delicious food,cannot fault the place ,highly highly recommended,the best Chinese in Manchester easily.

Disappointing - much too noisy for conversation. Tables too close together. Food OK, but I've had better elsewhere. We arrived 10 minutes before our booked time and were asked to wait elsewhere - we were told there was a range of pubs nearby!

Having been to this restaurant on many occasions since it has been opened I have always enjoyed the food. But in the last couple of visits it seems to have deteriorated. The beef fajitas had very little meat (fatty), in fact they were just full of peppers, the burgers were undercooked and the service was slow. I have since stopped going and coincidentally have heard on many occasions from friends and colleagues how they too are disappointed with the restaurant that used to be lovely as now gone to pot! Also the menus smell like sick
