My partner and I took advantage of the Wednesday special offer and had a most wonderful evening. The place is small but this provides a nice ambience and the food was truly splendid. I will be returning that? for sure

Azzurro Restaurant – DidsburyI have been going to Karim's for years,Excellent value, GREAT FOOD, REALLY FRIENDLY WARM AND WELCOMING. I RECOMMEND 101% try it for yourself..sue
Karims Restaurant – MiddletonAlways a very nice place to eat with tasty food & a good atmosphere at a reasonable price. Try the main floor on a Saturday night for the Blues Guy. Can be a bit noisy but a unique offering for a meal in Manchester on a Saturday night. Try the Mussels for Starter & Zizi (meatballs) for the main if they're still doing them - excellent.
Mud Crab at Grinch – Manchester City CentreLive across from True Taste and their food is excellent and run by really friendly guys. Mushroom Pilau is miles better than anything on Brick Lane x
True Taste Of India The – RochdaleWhat more can I say about the place except always a pleasure. We eat there as often as we can, the food is great, the service is great & the ambience is great. All this at a reasonable cost.
Piccolino- Caffe Grande – Manchester City CentreI love this place! The food is authentic in a way that most anglicised eastern restaurants don't match. Tasty, ultra quick, and top value for money. What more do you want?
Tampopo – Manchester City CentreFantastic one of my favourite, if not, my favourite restaurant food exceptional, excellent service and great ambiance. We?e moved 80 miles away but still travel there. the lunches are great value too.
Jitrada Thai Restaurant – SaleI can quite honestly say this is the best italian restaurant I have ever been to. Excellent choice of authentic food on offer and the daily specials board displayed a wonderful array of fish starters and mains. Both my partner and I had 3 courses, all of which were fantastic on both accounts. Great service, great ambience and great food at a very reasonable price. Try it and you'll agree.
Azzurro Restaurant – DidsburySimple, well cooked fresh food. Had the calamari, which tasted very fresh and was well presented. My friend had the baguette, which again was tasty and very fresh. Good bar food and the specials look great. We've been there for lunch and after work. It's also a great bar!
Classroom, The – AltrinchamUrmston at last has a quality eatery, meaning I don't have to go to Manchester every time I want a meal that is a bit special. I tried Isinglass for the first time this Wednesday, and it will certainly be the first of many visits. Our table for 4 enjoyed every course. The smoked salmon and potato tart with dill sauce was top drawer, and my Game Pie, stuffed with venison, quail, rabbit and woodpigeon was so filling I couldn't manage the cheese board I had been so looking forward to. My wife and our two friends each had a dessert that they raved about. I have read reviews on some sites, which I just cannot understand. The service was great, I for one don't want to be rushed when enjoying quality food, the background music gave an excellent chilled atmosphere, and as stated the food was freshly cooked and extremely tasty. For the standard of food, the price was not overly expensive, certainly compared to some city centre establishments. All in all an excellent evening and I would strongly recommend Isinglass to anyone who would listen!
Isinglass – UrmstonWe went for the Beat the Clock Menu, which cost us £5 for two meals because we ordered at £5. That was fantastic value for two generous portions, which were delicious. The staff were great - we will see you again. Best regards Margaret
Sweet Mandarin – Northern QuarterEver since the demise of 'Sarasota', Manchester's Gay Village has been crying out for an excellent restaurant. Luckily Villaggio fits the bill perfectly. The warm welcome makes you feel at home straight away. It really is nice to have a restaurant that doesn't try to be a bar at the same time. The wine list has something for everyone and all at a reasonable price. The food is fresh and cooked well and offers a variety of dishes to suit meat-eaters and vegetarians. The service is excellent. The staff are very friendly and attentive without being intrusive and whenever I have been there, nothing is too much trouble for them. The whole restaurant is spotless as are the toilets upstairs. If you want a decent, informal, well-priced meal served by staff who seem to take pride in what they are doing, I would highly recommend Villaggio. I can't wait to go back. Well done to everyone concerned.
Villaggio – Manchester City CentreI've become something of a regular at Try Thai - because the early evening menu is ridiculously good value at £4.50 (Starter, Main and a Coffee or Ice Cream) and the food is good tasty, hearty stuff. The soup is very good hot and sour with a generous amount of mushrooms and chicken. The red curry have a very flavoured and rich edge; the green has a real spicy kick to it and it can get quite hot; the yellow is sweeter, very mellow and contains root vegetables for the softer palettes. The best main I have had is the Mixed Seafood in Red Curry; it contained a very generous mix of scallops, mussels, fish in a foil parcel. Delicious with the coconut rice! There aren't many deserts on the menu yet, just ice cream but if they added Mango and Sticky Rice, then this place really would be the best Thai in town!
Try Thai – Manchester City CentreEverytime I visit Manchester, I make it a point to have at least one meal at Buffet City. I have been to several of the other local buffets and the quality of the food here is second to none. While not the "prettiest" of places it has a very functional dining room and wonderful food and a good staff.
Buffet City – Manchester City CentreHaving visited Isinglass today for the first time with my family including two young children, the experience was a wholly positive one. Helpful and friendly staff from the outset, tasteful decor, and a friendly easy ambience. The food was first class and it's a credit to the proprietors that the prices are as reasonable as they are. Obviously good ingredients beautifully prepared and an extensive wine list to boot. This definitely will not be my last visit!
Isinglass – UrmstonGood Food, & the chef has had lots of awards, Service good but staff could be a bit more cheerful I suppose
Simla Inn Tandoori Restaurant – RoytonAbsolutely fabulous food, if it isn? on the menu, Mario will do his best to cook whatever you want!! Prawns and mushrooms in cheese, cream and garlic sauce and oven baked is to die for, but don? forget the garlic bread to soak up the sauce!! Does a mean salmon steak too!!
Mario Cafe Bar – WesthoughtonWent last night for our wedding anniversary. Chef was very accommodating with our dairy free requirements. Made us lovely red pepper soup followed by grilled halibut and plenty of fresh veg and new potatoes wife had excellent steak. Shame there is no early bird menu, as we would go more often. Price £50 incl wine but no sweets or coffee at our request.
