Fantastic food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Sometimes a little "too" keen on filling your glass and taking your plates away. Would recommend a visit

Puccini Pizzeria – Swintonjust one word F A B U L O U S
Spicy Hut – RusholmeOn a good night, this is the best Asian food I've eaten anywhere. On a bad night it's still excellent. Really fresh tasting and carefully made. The service is friendly, the decor attractive--I love the paintings-- and it's not too expensive. Try the Bindi, it revolutionised my opinion of okra!
Cafe Lahore – OldhamWe ate the lunch offer of 2 courses for £5.50p what great value for money. There is also an early evening offer 5.0pm till 7.0pm 3 courses for £10.50p. A very nicely laid out restaurant serving Greek food which was very fresh. Outstanding value.
Rozafa Taverna – StockportMyself and family enjoyed a lovely meal last Friday. I was originally going to eat at a well know chain that rhymes with hanky and jennys, however I remembered House after trying at short notice to eat there once before only failing because they were booked up. This time again was very short notice (only 30mins) The host was not sure about fitting us in but agreed as long as his table was clear for 8pm, which was not a problem as we were going to the cinema afterwards. We had a really nice meal, nothing too pretentious but good quality simple food and great value. The atmosphere is very nice and I will be going again. Only problem is it too handy to where we live!!
The House Restaurant and Wine Bar – AltrinchamAte there Sunday 6pm after several recommendations. Thought it was brilliant! Great service, atmosphere, had roast beef yorkshire pud etc, lovely fresh veg - very reasonably priced. So impressed I went with a friend for lunch a few days later - again the same friendly welcome - lovely food and very reasonable prices. So much to choose from on the menu, really helpful staff. Great place to eat in town!
English Lounge – Northern QuarterWe love this place! The food is consistently excellent even though we have been dozens of times. The food was always good but since its relocation to the Old Chapel it really feels like you are somewhere very special. The staff are very helpful and friendly and we are always amazed by how such a lovely evening can cost so little. The best curry I have ever eaten.
Mahabharat Restaurant – WiganI love this place, having eaten here on a few occasions since first being taken to it about 10 years ago. The vegetarian range is very big and the food is astonishing, perhaps even the best Indian food I've had outside India! The staff are very knowledgeable (advising what compliments what) and take an interest in their customers. I only went last night and I'm looking forward to going again!
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeA very welcoming establishment. excellent thought from the owner in regards the requirements of people with special needs. very impressed to see a restaurant with the courage to be the first in Wigan to become the first non-smoking restaurant. Will definitely visit again. Well done.
Gallimores – WiganNice atmosphere, family orientated. Large portions. Tastes like home cooking at its best. Reasonable prices.
Three Arrows Inn – MiddletonAbsolutely tremendous. I went, following the rave reviews, and wasn't disappointed. Portion sizes and presentation is superb, good atmosphere in the restaurant as well. Great veggie selection too. Only annoyance is you can't book for less than 10 people - by 6:30 on Saturday the place was nearly full, so you face a very long wait if you turn up after this time, which would put me off if I didn't want to eat early.
Akbars – Manchester City CentreI have been twice now - once for my birthday with 10 people. The food is amazing, if hot (if you're not a spicy fan ask for it mild!!), portions perfect, excellent choice esp. for veggies. The service is superb, and they really surpassed themselves on my birthday - cake, candles, photos... in short, a great place for both a celebration and a dinner for two.
East z East – Manchester City CentreI've been here a few times with friends, and everyone has always been impressed by the food - and these are people who generally don't eat Chinese as they are tired of the usual fare on offer! When I last went there were two menus - I like to think of them as the 'Western' and 'Real' Chinese menus! There are some interesting veggie dishes and some definitely unusual meat dishes. Portions are very generous, the food isn't gloopy and it's very cheap for what you get. Definitely recommended if you like Chinese or if you have got sick of the usual offerings!
Red Chilli – Manchester City CentreThis is one of my favourite places to eat. The choice of starters is brilliant, and meat eaters will be in heaven! The chargrilled fish is fabulous , and the veggie moussaka is an old favourite (a couple more veggie items wouldn't come amiss!). For those who aren't sure - try the pre-theatre menu for £10.50 - brilliant value for money. Nice wine selection too.
Cafe Istanbul – Manchester City CentreI have visited the Dog & Partridges endless times, due to food being so authentically Spanish and the Spanish owner being so friendly & nice. You will feel at home as soon as you walk in - you even have a few of the locals having tapas snacks around the bar which is always nice. The menu has a great selection, and i recommend the 'gambas pil pil' - king prawns in chilli garlic, umm!! & definitely try the Chorizo Spanish sausage - this is cooked infront of you on fire!- How authentic can you get! Also don? be put off if you have kids, there is a small kids menu, or there are probably some tapas dishes they would enjoy too. Don? miss out!! I would definitely book at the weekend!
Dog And Partridge – StalybridgeSimply the best
Buffet City – Manchester City CentreHad a lovely time, food was great; service was prompt. The staff were polite and friendly. Atmosphere was fantastic and the decorations were modern. I recommend the lead station to everyone. Thank-you for having us.
Lead Station – ChorltonI would highly recommend a trip to Azzurro. Excellent food and exceptional service can be expected. We went along for the Wednesday special offer.
