A visit a lunchtime with colleagues was very enjoyable, food excellent, staff friendly.

Went there recently and cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you like wonderful food, brilliant service and not at exorbitant prices this is the only place to go. Could not believe how cheap the final bill was. Once you try it believe me you will go back again and again. This place should be heaving !!!

Fantastic place had many a great meal there love it mine hosts are great too well done john with the charity night recently. I couldn? make it but was there in spirit

oh dear, just when i was singing the praises of east z east which is excellent, we dine at akbars. we found nicer surroundings, better service although a tad fussy, and definitely better food! my only grudge, no draught beer (bottled cobra) very busy on Friday night .it has moved to number 1 on our Indian dining list. overall a great night out.

This is the most outstanding vegetarian restaurant I have ever been to. I went here at lunchtime following an evening out in Manchester where we had kobe beef for dinner. If you don't know kobe cows are fed chocolate and massaged daily with the result that the beef taste like absolute heaven. Tender light and it melts in your mouth. it is a once in a lifetime experience at £50 each a steak....I have to say I didn't believe you could top that experience, but greens did. I belong to a private members club in London, Adam St which I think has the most outstanding chef. and having done most of the destination restaurants in London...I am very hard to please but greens blew my mind. I ordered a mushroom strudel with beetroot and chips. The strudel was delightful dressed in a perfect light gravy.. the beetroots were roasted to perfection and the wedges accompanied with the most perfect light garlic sauce. I thought I'd gone to heaven...That meal demonstrates the importance of beginning with excellent produce as you could have only achieved the incredible wedges with good potatoes. The dessert menu was wonderful containing unusually most of the things I love. white chocolate cheesecake, crème brulee I went for sticky toffee pudding and at the first mouthful let out an involuntary moan of pleasure. My friend sampled the dessert and did the same INCREDIBLE please please open a restaurant in London.

We visited for the first time last night. had the scallops & salmon fishcakes to start followed by fillet steak and duck. Finished with tiramisu and chocolate pot. The service was excellent, the prices very reasonable and the food was beautiful. Will definitely be returning.

Really nice food, good location, nice atmosphere, good prices. I would recommend this place. It is self service as it is a buffet so the service that you get from the waitresses isn't really a problem. Truth be told every time i've been the waitresses on the whole haven't been the best at all and it's been a case of they show you to a table, take your drink orders, clear your plates, all without a hint of a smile on the whole. When your at a buffet it doesn't really matter but if the waitresses where a bit nicer it would help. In saying that i would still return and would recommend it if you want a nice buffet meal in a nice clean restaurant.

Went here with a friend on a Wednesday evening not being able to find anywhere decent to eat in Stockport. Not having eaten here before didn't know what to expect. We were very impressed. It was brilliant. We went between 5 - 7.30pm and had the £7 special starter and main course. There must have been at least 15 starters and 12 - 15 main course - what we had was brilliant. We will certainly be going there again - in fact next Tuesday. This place deserves to be packed !!!

6 of us went on the recommendation of reviews on this site.. The place is an excellent location for an evening out with friends. the food is fantastic , with a wide choice to suit all tastes the wine list is extensive . Nothing is too much trouble for the staff .. Good night out guaranteed...

A great place to eat in Stockport, kids no problem to them, well done.

Great choice of starters and wonderful choice of main course for meat eaters. The vegetarian and fish dishes are limited only 2 of each. Meat dishes are good but hot vegetarian dishes are tasteless. However if you are vegetarian you had mix 2 or 3 starters with the special vegetarian rice which is a nice combination. You can bring your own wine or beer which is great - they do not have a license.

Great place to go for a fantastic food, ambience and service, especially different and much nicer to the "normal" Rusholme curry-houses! Definitely recommended!

I often eat at San Carlo when in Manchester and in my opinion it's the best Italian restaurant in Manchester. There is a huge choice of dishes on the menu along with a daily changing specials board incorporating a large choice of daily seafood selections. The standard of food is second to none and I love the 'trio de pasta' for 2, where the chef chooses which 3 you get. Great cocktails, wine (although quite pricey) and service too. Have also eaten at the one in Birmingham which is just as good. It's a shame there are no Italian restaurants of this standard in Liverpool. I just have one question..........please, please would open one in Liverpool before City of Culture 2008 and all the suitable buildings get snapped up?

I'm always eating out at restaurants and love trying new places. This is possibly the best restaurant I have ever been to in terms of the whole experience. The food is amazing and the service is second to none. In truth the restaurant it tiny but the atmosphere is so amazing. I think it's size and quaintness that makes it so amazing. Seriously can not wait to go back. I've been telling m family and work colleagues about this place all week. Looking forward to going again soon.

Fast becoming our favourite restaurant in the city. Excellent food, standard as good as the Lime Tree but with a more exciting menu and better value. Service, whilst friendly, could have been quicker and waiter more knowledgeable re menu and wines.

Stunning Restaurant! Inside and out! Amazing food! The service was brilliant! The atmosphere is amazing and very authentic. Prices are reasonable! I seriously love this restaurant. It get's very busy at the weekends now. This is probably one of the best restaurants in Bolton.

I've been to quite a few restaurants that say they serve Spanish food, only to find an English owner/chef that likes to holiday on the Costa del sol 2 weeks a year and whose food is a poor copy of Spanish Tapas, El Rincon is the real thing, fantastic food professional staff and reasonable prices. The only other restaurant I'd recommend is casa las tapas, retiro st, Oldham
