Bizarre decor, but I like it! Very rock n roll experience, especially on a Sunday when it's packed. Good food and service. Different and tacky in a good way. Definitely Vegas meets Hong Kong .Mmmmmm.

Glamorous – Northern QuarterThe food is some of the best I have experienced. And, considering the price, the wine we were recommended was superb.
Belmore Hotel – SaleWe had an absolutely fantastic time from start to finish! Chef Enzo has outdone himself with the amazing selection of delectable regional Italian cuisine. The service was wonderful, and the building is too amazing for words. Being that the wine list is so vast, we tried several bottles between the table and were never disappointed by any of the wines. They were all fabulous and it left us wondering how it is possible to create such a large list of wines, which are so fabulous. We started with the seafood platter, which was like a cornucopia of fruits from the ocean. The flavours were too good for words. Bravo to Stock restaurant and their staff!
Stock Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThe best asian/indian food ever! It's a must!
Desi Lounge – FailsworthWe ate here recently Apr. 2005 and agree it is excellent; we will definitely be making this our no 1 in rusholme from now on. I agree that there are a number of dishes on the menu that you can? get elsewhere. Highly recommended from a rusholme veteran.
Punjab Tandoori – RusholmeExcellent food and service. My only minor gripe would be that, like many of the Burton Road establishments, the restaurant is a bit draughty as the door opens directly into the dining area.
Azzurro Restaurant – DidsburyThe food is a first class -the freshness and flavour are wonderful. The service is excellent and very friendly. Highly recommended.
Sweet Mandarin – Northern QuarterAlways great food. Try the pate!! Stuffed onions were also a winner..
Bistro West 156 – DidsburyThe Turkish delight is the best restaurant / takeaway ever - I have been going there for years and the people who own it recognise us and are very, very friendly - I strongly recommend it! I also recommend chips and the chicken kebab with yoghurt sauce!
Turkish Delight – ChorltonIt was a wonderful experience for my family and I to enjoy a wonderful night at Indian Ocean. I?e been visiting here infrequently since couple of years, however, my last visit was a real surprise, the courteous and friendly staff turned our birthday party into a real pleasure.... the way they surprised us with a birthday cake and candles, sparkles it made our day...specially when all the celebration was complimentary from the GENERAL MANAGER's side. But I will never forget the smiles and birthday song and clapping of few people I never knew well before... it was mind blowing. I asked how did you know it was a birthday party, the reply was "while taking our booking on phone yesterday, we asked from your daughter is at any special occasion?" that? it... but we never had any expectation on a simple question...Anyways...long live Indian ocean u made our day...you are really as you say "IN A CLASS OF ITS OWN"..........
Indian Ocean – Ashton Under LyneThe legendary Nawaab on Rochdale road has now become the Nawab and is on Oldham road. The venue is much better, funky and modern however the gorgeous food and wonderful service remain the same. Still my favourite Indian in Manchester.
Desi Lounge – FailsworthDelicious!! Nothing more to say!
Koh Samui Thai Restaurant – Manchester City CentreNew faces, new feeling and excellent change food was very good and service excellent.
Jackson’s Boat – SaleAmazingly friendly staff, wonderful food and you can take your own wine!
Persia Grill House – ChorltonI am a great lover of Spanish food and to be honest was not expecting this little restaurant to be upto much. How wrong could I be? Fantastic food, beautiful, cosy restaurant and excellent customer service. I was completely impressed.
Viva Espana – HorwichI love this place - beautiful waiters, nice food, relaxing atmosphere.
Taurus Cafe Bar and Restaurant – Manchester City CentreThis place is always buzzing - right into the early hours, lots of Chinese customers. An extensive menu, veggies well catered for, it's one of my first choices when going into china town
Pearl City Cantonese Restaurant – Manchester City CentreHad fabulous din sum, with friends who speak Cantonese, and therefore could order off the Cantonese menu. Have since been back - unfortunately the same delicacies aren't available to those of us who can't read Cantonese.
