On my first visit to this restaurant, i was extremly happy with the quality of the food, the crab tart and cornish seafood stew were to die for and as for the sampfire grass mash well it was superb. It is nice to know where your food has come from coupled with the flair and talents of the chef, this was a meal to remember.

We have had a number of great nights out at the dilshad!The food is the best in Manchester and the service is second to none!The staff go the extra mile to ensure that you enjoy the food and the surroundings!

The staff and ambience were excellent. I forgot I was in Rochdale!! The food was sublime and excellent value for money. I will definately return and would recommend the Albion to everyone regardless of taste.

always busy so suggest you book a table in advance. The service is very good and the menu has a good variety to choose from. There is always a 'special' on the blackboard if the main menu doesn't appeal, though I can't imagine it not. We've been on several occassions including birthdays when a cake or baked alaska can be pre-ordered with indoor fireworks and 'happy birthday' playing out when they bring it to your table, very impressive, food delicious

I have been to Sweet Mandarin a few times and the food and service are absolutely excellent. I've been as a couple and for my birthday and each time the staff have been attentive and the food lovely. I look forward to my next visit.

What a great place! I've lived just round the corner for the past 3 years and for some reason had never visited. The food was superb - just different enough from your average curry to make it feel a bit more special. The prices were incredibly reasonable, and the staff are all great. It's just had a re-furb too which makes it more visually appealing than it once was. All in all a fantastic and bargin place. I'll definitely be going back soon.

I have visited on several occasions and the food and service have been excellent each time. We had the Alberts breakfast and chilli scallops to start followed by meatballs and haddock risotto.All were done to perfection and easily rival any of the more expensive and stuffy restaurants in the city centre. The service is friendly and efficient and the location is probably one of the best in Manchester - easy parking and a fantastic view.

Delicious oriental food with no MSG anywhere in sight. Forget the typical Chinese.. this is REAL oriental food. Finger-licking good food and generous portions! Also, as far as prices go, this is more than reasonable for both what's on offer and location!

Hunters serves amazing and authentic Indian food and kebabs. It's essentially a take away with a few plastic tables and chairs, so don't go expecting a visually stunning restaurant experience. However if it's just food that you are intereted in then I reckon it's the best I've had, especially their fine vegetarian dishes. Their ochre is first class. It's situated over the road from Bluu and alot of the new northern quarter developments, perfect for a pre or post drink feed! A plate of a selection of their food was only £3.50, spectacular value!!

We had a really excellent evening and would highly recommend The Sweet Mandarin. We want to thank Lisa in particular for excellent service and really making our party feel welcome. i love this place! it's just cool, it's lively and funky. but if you want top notch food or are fussy about service, probably not the place for you. The food's really good value, pretty tasty and the place has good bar atmosphere - we reguarly go after work. However, if you're a little more diserning over your food: it can take a long time for orders to come through and there's some sloppy 16year old service. all in all, good place, will keep going back - but please change the menu at some point - i've tried most things on it now!

Having enjoyed Jem and I before and with reasons to celebrate I took my boyfriend there for his first visit; his expectations were high but I have to say Jem and I delivered at all levels! The food was superb, the waiting staff very friendly and enthusiastic and the ambience lovely. We had a great time and they made our celebration(unknowingly) that much more special....I would have no hesitation in recommending a visit or two....

Now relocated to newly refurbished premises 2 doors away, the decor and ambience is quite superb. The quality of the food is really excellent with excellent fish courses as well as the familiar curry dishes. Having tried many Indian restaurants in the area and beyond I can highly recommend The Mahabharat as one of the finest Indian restaurants in the UK, up there with The Bombay Brasserie in London both in cuisine and ambience.

As good as the Thai island it takes it name from. Wines are fairly priced unlike most Chinese who rip you off. Recommended to follow a theatre show.

Friendly, helpful staff, great food (generous portions), cosy/comfortable atmosphere. The kind of place you can enjoy a great meal and feel relaxed instead of rushed. For those who don't like their food too spicy much of what we had was mildly spiced, but you can choose hotter stuff if you want! It was good to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves instead of feeling rushed out of the door. We will definately going back (this was our first visit). Decor not modern, but not too seventies, it seems fitting for this taverna.

Probably the best all round restaurant in the greater Manchester area. Nothing has ever disappointed and the only reason it costs more than it should is because we always have too many bottles of wine from the exceptional list!
