Casa Nostra – WesthoughtonI was taken here for my birthday two years ago for the first time. I had a 7 course meal, lots of lovely entrees served with excellent wines that were recommended to us by experienced waiters. A lovely setting to sit before and after dinner, the only disappointment was that it was so quiet in the restaurant, only 3 couples on a Saturday night.
Belmore Hotel – SaleAfter having a bad experience with another Italian restaurant in the city centre, we were very impressed by Bella Italia, with an excellent menu, lovely food and very good service. We will definitely be visiting again!
Bella Italia – Manchester City CentreExcellent food and service at a modest price. Nice atmosphere too. Worth a visit if you have not been there before
Laughing Buddha – DidsburyBeen coming here for about 15 years and always been excellent. Best in Rusholme
Sangam Restaurant – RusholmeA nice cosy small restaurant. We waited a long time for our food to be served but was worth the wait. Excellent food and service
Heylam – SaleI have dined at this restaurant a number of times and have always been amazed at the whole experiance. From the service to the quality of food everything is consistently of an excellent standard. Highly recommended!
Abacus Restaurant – HorwichI didn't realise that the Living Room had a restaurant upstairs, well it has and it's very nice!
The Living Room – Manchester City Centrefood is great, nice relaxed feel to the place
The Italian Job Restaurant – UrmstonGreat food but I felt it was slightly pricey
Chiquito Restaurant and Bar – Salford QuaysThe restaurant is of a modern design, staff very polite. The menu was varied and the food very good. I was impressed with the quality and presentation of the food. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Restaurant Bar and Grill – Manchester City CentreTHE BEST RESTAURANT IN BOLTON VERY FRIENDLY STAFF
Sunar Gaw – BoltonThe best Indian I have had. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Although it was very busy the service was fast and the atmosphere is very good. A variety of world wines and champagnes.
Leena Tandoori – BoltonVisited several times and always good food.
Ciao Ristorante – StockportTotally disagree with the last review! We always have a warm welcome and the staff are accommodating and helpful. Love the food and the atmosphere - this place is always busy giving it a real buzz you don't find anywhere else on Beech Road.
Lead Station – ChorltonExcellent variety of Chinese cuisine, well presented and at a very affordable price, warm family run atmosphere with the customer is always right good old fashioned service. Well worth a visit.
Heylam – SaleWhat ever you do, don't mention Wagamama! Whilst it may not seem obvious at first, Tampopo is subtly different to Wagamama. Despite the menu design style, the seating arrangements and the orders scrawled on placemats a-la-Wags, the similarities stop once the food arrives. Wagamama is much more of a fast food Japanese noodle bar, whereas Tampopo is much more pan-asian focussed with noodle (and rice) dishes from Vietnam, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and of course, Japan. The food itself also has a more authentic feel to it. The use of coriander adds to the genuine taste of the noodles. Prices also come just under the usual noodle bar levels and the service is of a good standard befitting such a restaurant. Great food, good atmosphere and just the right place for an informal meal before going out.
Tampopo – Manchester City CentreI took my wife here last Saturday and we had a fantastic time. The food and atmosphere were perfect. We had to have the fillet steaks for the main with chunky chip and thin chips. Steaks are best we have ever had and their reputation for this is well justified. We have just re-booked a table for all the family in a weeks time as it is rare we all get together and I could not thing of a better place to go. We rarely venture into the city centre but this is well woth it and there is cheap parking nearby. Make sure you have a pud aswell!! Have a good time. Paul
