The ox is the future of Manchester entertainment. Away from the pretentious and rammed city centre bars, the Ox is rapidly becoming a new type of bar/pub/restaurant for those in the know who have had enough of rip off bars that take an hour to get served and where the food looks good and tastes terrible. The ox is none of these and is a surprising blend of business types happily mixing with young proffessional urbanites and is also child friendly. The food in my opinion(which I share with my friends) is possibly the best and certainly the most reasonable in town. Whether it be a business lunch or Sunday brunch or an atmosphere for an England game the Ox is not surpassed by any in our city. Keep it up the Ox.

The place was packed as it was friday and there was a jazz band performing. Although the food arrived a bit late they more than made up for it by giving my friend a cake with a candle for her birthday!

Four ladies had an excellent pre-concert meal here. We found the atmosphere was lively, the waiters attentive and the food excellent. we'd definitely go again. June 2002.

Can there be a better restaurant anywhere in Manchester? With fixed price menu's (£12.95 for 3 fantastic courses) and a well chosen wine list, the food is excellent and unbelievable value for money. The atmosphere is very relaxed, with casually dressed staff making for a lively eating environment. One of the best nights out in West Manchester, definitely worth taking the tram to Eccles for. Warning, this place is busy every night, so make sure you book early!

Fantastic food, good service and nice surroundings. You get lots of good food for your money and the staff are friendly and courtious.

By far the best curry place in Rusholme and in Manchester. Food is top class as is the service. A must if you want to sample the delights of the 'curry mile'.

I can't believe I'm the first to have something to say about this wonderful Italian restaurant!! The two waiters who I think are the owners are entertaining as well as helpful and co-operative. Gorgeous food, wonderful wine, decent prices and a lovely warm friendly atmosphere - BELISSIMO!!

Always a very tasty curry served here with a wide choice of starters and main dishes. The highlight however of visiting this restaurant is the Vimto lollies that come with the bill!! FANTASTIC

Wow, worth a visit just to see the interior of the Gaucho. A fab place to eat if you enjoy your steak. The steaks are always cooked to perfection..To good to miss Don't miss

The food is consistently good in Pizza Express burt what sets them apart from the other chains is the effort they put into the decor. This branch in particular is worth a visit (it's got a more traditional, classic feel to it). If you like spicy food, try the Hot Americano. . .
