Lovely lunch, the food is first class and the service very quick and friendly.

I’ve eaten at the Wheatsheaf three times now and on each occasion have been impressed by the standard of the food - a cut about pub food, for sure. The menu is well thought out, a good range of dishes (I don’t eat meat but feel well catered for) which are well cooked and nicely presented. The staff are friendly, confident and attentive. I’ll be back.

this is at least the tenth time we have been there for a meal and drink ,the food has always been excellent and a good range of red wine and malt whisky and real ale , the staff can not do enough for you and where ever possible cater for all your needs , looking forward to be back in a couple of week

This was our second visit this time for my husband birthday, very disappointed both myself and my fellow diner had to return our meals as the fish was cooked properly. The staff were very apologetic, but my husband and our other diner had finished there meals by the time ours were returned. Which ruined our special meal for my husband. The staff did reduce the price of the meals.

Popped in for dinner on sunday on our last night in Beetham. Thoroughly enjoyed the stripped down, old world vibe and the candles on the tables. Even the cutlery came in a pewter tankard. Just fabulous. Our meal was great, beautifully presented and very tasty, while the staff were welcoming and attentive. We love the area, so will be dropping back to the Wheatsheaf on our travels in the future. Thank you very much! Anne and Jim Glee

Excellent food both at breakfast & dinner . Served by delightful friendly staff ... the pub has a lovely atmosphere & very reasonable prices. Will definitely stay & eat there again ! Well done The Wheatsheaf !
