Can't fault it. Had Sunday lunch, the Jan and the veggy option. Both were really nice. Good portions. Lovely point to go with it. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Would recommend.

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – Milnthorpewe came in for Sunday lunch as the pub was highly reccomended. ordered roast dinners for me and the children and my Wife ordered lamb shank. The staff were friendly and helpful. When the food came, my wife’s lamb shank was extremely tough and also very pink to the point of being raw near the bone. My roast came with one slice of beef which was dry and tough. The vegetables were excellent. A couple at the adjacent table bought two large dogs with them and proceeded to feed them with them sat at the table - i’ve never seen this in my life before! ( obviously not the pubs fault but none the less i couldn’t believe what i was seeing) Shame the food was poor as the pub was lovely with a nice atmosphere. perhaps we were just unlucky and they were having an off day.

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeA new find, and one we will definitely be coming back to! Lovely atmosphere for an evening meal and the best lamb I have had in years. The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeGreat food, beer, wine list, atmosphere and attentive and friendly staff. Excellent value for money and very consistent.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWe love the Wheatsheaf and the pretty village of Beetham, and consider it a local. The atmosphere is always good, but it’s also the right level of noise to have your own conversations. The food is consistently good pub food but the menu doesn’t change often enough for us to go more. Dog friendly, great service, tasty beer.

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeLovely atmosphere. Large portions and food lovely, just a small suggestion- i had the chicken strips to start supposedly with siracha mayo, you need to put more mayo out, just a swirl around the outside of the plate was nowhere near enough esp as I had 4 good sized chicken strips. But oh my goodness the wild garlic and cream sauce with the fish cakes was Devine.
The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpePleasant atmosphere with a warm welcome on arrival. A adequate gap after drinks ordering before food order. Courses came to table efficiently with good timing. Cheese chips starter was excellent
