Another lovely meal at Red Mezze. Good service with excellent food. An excellent place for meeting friends. Excellent value for money - not sure you could get as good a meal anywhere else in Newcastle for the same price. Two courses for less than £10.

We told him we’re blocking in another car and he was very rude with his response. Had to call someone over to take our order as we were sat for a while and no one came over and even offered to ask us for drinks.
Red Mezze – Newcastle City CentreDisappointed last night as I turned up early for my booking and was turned away with the statement that I wouldn't be able to get served for nearly 2 hours as it was full of football supporters. I was quite happy to go as at least they were honest in telling the truth about what had happened. As I'd booked and had very good meals there in the past I was very annoyed as to why they'd either overbooked or given my table away. Very poor as it was a big night for us as well.

We had the house red wine which was very drinkable! The staff were all very pleasant and efficient. All in all, a great experience, and very good value.
