Red Mezze has been one of our favourites for a long time, sadly I didn’t enjoy our recent visit one little bit. The restaurant was too full and very very noisy. Very little in the way of social distancing. The table was so tight my elbows were tucked in and it was most uncomfortable. The food was okay, although I had the smallest piece of flatbread with my kebab and the garlic sauce was like water. Disappointing.

Absolutely love this place. Food is always amazing and reasonably priced aswell. Staff are also spot on!

The food was incredible! There are so many options, and all of them sound amazing! The waiters are super friendly, and even funny! It's generally a wonderful atmosphere, and a good price too!

I absolutely love this place. I always have the lamb cutlets, they are so tasty and were cooked to perfection ….. marinade is delicious. 10/10 and the staff are lovely

Red mezze is our favourite Turkish restaurant. We live near Whitley bay where there is quite a popular Turkish restaurant which everyone raves on about,we ate there once….never again!!…it doesn’t even come close to red mezze. The food here is amazing it never disappoints,the staff pleasant and welcoming and it’s fantastic value for money. it’s just a really nice atmosphere. We always look forward to our visits.

We were a little disappointed on our last visit. The service was not so great and we waited 45 mins for drinks, after we were seated and our order taken. The food however was served in good time and was definitely up to the usual standard. It was a busy night, and staff seemed uncoordinated and if there was a system in place for processing orders it wasn’t clear what it was. The bar staff in particular struggled that night. Our meal was delicious; portion sizes were generous and food exquisitely prepared. I would recommend Prima. I just hope their service improves

Excellent value. I have been to Red Mezze again and again, the value for money is very good and the food quality and tase (and portion size) are great. I highly recommend it. We got the lunch special, 2 courses for £8. Great restaurant.

Excellent fresh food served by very nice servers. Felt very safe and comfortable in a very relaxed establishment. Would highly recommend this venue for a great meal out
