This place was fantastic. The staff made you feel very welcome and couldn’t do enough for you. The food was to die for and service was very fast. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. Definitely great value for money and I’m sure if we visit Newcastle again we will be back. Highly recommend Red Mezze.

I was here on Wednesday 9th. I was a lone diner, the staff are absolutely wonderful here. So attentive but not too much. The food is incredible i had the duck which was cooked to perfection. Highly recommended this restaurant!!

My family have been diners at Red Mezze for the past 10 years and in all that time we have never had a meal which was not of the highest standard, the staff are all lovely and helpful and always give a warm and genuine greeting to everyone. I love this restaurant and would recommend eating here, you will never be disappointed.

Been 1/2 dozen times now, one of my favourite restaurants.

I have eaten at the restaurant a few times and had always enjoyed the food. However, on our visit on Wednesday 26th August I must confess I was disappointed. My wife’s starter was over cooked and our main course came 2 minutes after our starters were served. When we refused to take the food it was presented to 2 other tables who also refused. When it did come back 15 minutes later you could tell it had been reheated and both our meals had dried out. It was a shame especially as Inhad raved to my wife about the food. It was her first time

Visited during Eat Out to Help Out. There couldn’t have been fewer social distancing if they tried. It is too crammed with tables. I had to stand up and reach for our drinks from the staff who couldn’t even get between two tables to bring them to us. The food was lovely. They didn’t ask if we wanted dessert (which we did). They had added two glasses of house Red to our bill, which we didn’t have. Had to go to the busy bar to sort it out. No apology for their mistake.
