This restaurant never disappoints, we visited again last night (as we always do when visiting the toon) the service and food is excellent and great value for money. Staff are very friendly and we were given extras such as a small (I presume Turkish?) dessert and some Turkish delight was presented with the bill: a lovely touch, we will be back

Fabulous, tasty and authentic food and service … waiting staff even gave us extra Turkish delight at the end as it was so delicious .. will definitely be returning soon. Traditional lager was also lovely Efeys I think!

Had a really nice night, the food is delicious and responsibly priced, haven't been for a while but was just as good as before.

Food was great, service very good and restaurant was authentic Turkish with good atmosphere. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable. Will definitely be back and would recommend

Another amazing meal at Red Mezze. The lunchtime special is incredible value at £7.95. We shared 4 of the cold starters with lovely warm Turkish bread. We all loved the diversity of the flavours. Our main courses were fantastic! Huge portions with fabulous flavours. I opted for the Chicken Guvec, two of our party had the Izmir Kofte and one had the the Chicken Shish. We will definitely be back very soon.

Only our 2nd visit but don't know why we left it so long.. Great choice of menu at excellent prices, but most of all the food and service was brilliant. Definitely not going to leave it as long for our next visit

We went to Red Mezze for our anniversary and the starters were fine but when it came to the mains I had asked the lady who works there I wanted a adana for my mains she gave us the wrong thing and was being adamant over it. She was very rude, didn’t even apologise . She definitely needs more training at work along with manners too! Won’t be going there again!!!!!

I love Turkey and Turkish food and this is the best I’ve had in Newcastle. Great food, great atmosphere and fantastic value. Going to return often and make it a regular. If I was being really picky I would have liked to have seen the use of traditional Turkish Baldo rice rather than pilau but I am being really picky as it was still really nice and not worth the deduction of a point

Fabulous food in a lovely setting with a fantastic ambience. Service is excellent, staff are extremely cheerful and polite. Amazing value for money with the 2 course lunchtime special and great choice of reasonably priced wine. Never been disappointed every time we’ve visited, will he hard pushed to find anywhere better

I thoroughly recommend Red Mezze and will definitely return. Only fault we could've done with some salt and pepper. We didn't ask as when we asked for water we waited a while but it didn't spoil our meal. The staff were lovely and we sat outside so maybe inside was busy. Also with covid restrictions everywhere seems to have less staff.
