We ate here on a very busy Saturday night. Excellent service, the Greek salad was spot on and both our main courses were delicious. My only slightly negative comment is that the mains were too big!! No need for so many chips especially as there were pittas as well - but all in all I’d highly recommend here

We were a party of 9 who lunched at Kafeneon on Saturday 2nd November. We all enjoyed the dishes that we chose. The food was fresh & tasty & the wine was perfect. The staff were extremely attentive to our large group & the service was 5 star! Thank you Kafeneon - we will be back.

As always, fantastic food, wonderful staff and great atmosphere which is why i return again and again. I know I will be guaranteed lovely tasty greek dishes and well worth the money.

Really lovely evening - gorgeous food and wine, lovely staff.

Took the kids for a half-term treat as they fancied Greek cuisine. Food was absolutely lovely, perfectly cooked and the service was excellent. My son said his lamb kleftico was the best he's had (including on Greece) which is high praise indeed.

Fabulous food, Fabulous and attentive staff, I eat there regularly and never had a bad meal. I will be returning next week with friends. I would recommend.

Walked past many times but this was our first visit. As soon as we arrived the staff were really welcoming. Good choice of authentic dishes which were both generous & delicious. We had a prawn saganaki & feta saganaki for starter & chicken & pork saganaki(?) For mains. Very busy for 6pm on a Sunday night and a good atmosphere. Would go again.

Had a wonderful night celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary. Staff really friendly and accommodating Food was delicious We also got a free glass of Prosecco which was a nice touch. Definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous food as ever. Went with my friend who had never been before, she loved it, and cant wait to go back. I have to say, the service here is better than anywhere else in Newcastle, lovely waitresses and waiter's. Bring on the next time!!!

Group of 5 on a Saturday. It was really busy and noisy in the basement but the food was very good, the service was excellent with meals arriving really quickly and it was great value for money. The staff were without exception fantastically friendly and efficient. We’ll certainly be back!
