Had another lovely meal at this establishment while down visiting in-laws! Food is very good, portions are huge and to top it all off the staff are lovely.

Another visit to the Harbour Lights, South Shields, breakfast this time. As always food amazing. Cannot fault. Cooked to perfection, served piping hot, huge portion size, Excellent value for money. The staff are so welcoming, friendly and ensure that you are looked after, first class service. And doggie friendly. Thank you

Yet again, a wonderful meal and such a lovely, warm , friendly, welcoming place to be. The staff here are delightful and go out of their way to make you are comfortable and enjoying your meal. Cannot recommend it enough.

Food was absolutely delicious and great service

3 of us visited for lunch. Staff very friendly, 2 meals were lovely but I had fish and chips and the fish was chewy and not much taste. Would still go back as I’ve had food before which was nice.

Booked a table on a Wednesday evening and was surprised at how many people were there the place was really well attended which is always a good sign. The food was nice and the staff really polite and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Couldn't fault the lovely staff, 3 of our party loved there food and cleared their plates the portion of fish pie was too much for another so took it home, i was so disappointed with lobster salad looked amazing but was just empty lobster shell, 2 small pieces of lobster and gave up trying to get anything from claws, also steak was a bit tough, won't put me off visiting again I'll order something else

Took my parents for lunch and again 5* we all got different meals and food was lovely, service etc 5*.

My daughter and I had a lovely tasty meal here on Saturday night before she ran in the Great North Run The food was super and the service was second to none. Also there. is lovely view from its elevated position. I would highly recommend Harbour lights and will certainly book again the next time she's in the race

Visited here the night before the Great North Run to have dinner. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this for a visit for great value and excellent quality food where you will be looked after so well.

It's my favourite place to eat in South Shields. The food is delicious, especially the fish and the staff are lovely. Good value for money.

Fabulous meal and service. Portions were big and very tasty and great value. Lots of homemade food. Lovely setting and staff were friendly and helpful. We will return.

I went for the steak night and the food was absolutely delicious with the steak cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were very good, especially for the onion rings. The service was brilliant and it was very good value for money, will be back.

Great food on Friday, as always. The portions especially the starters are large. The staff are really friendly and we had great service . Good prices and value, would highly recommend the Harbour Lights South Shields.
