A beautiful meal, dispite the full restaurant, both staff and food excellent . Will definitely return.

1st time visited for a meal with friends - all 4 of us were extremely happy with the food for each course, the atmosphere and service - we will definitely recommend it and return.

We were a party for 13 people, the service was amazing and the food was outstanding. Will definitely be visiting here again.

It has been many years since eating at the now named Hopping Hare (Hopping Hill previously) but the meal was fine except the Brussels they had just been blanched you could have used them as snooker balls they were so hard, we did complain and were asked if we would like something else, but we declined as we had a full plate full. The waiter was very good and attentive. The one big gripe was that there is only one handicap parking place and we had to park on the road. Otherwise and enjoyable meal in a convivial atmosphere.

Excellent food beautifully arranged and served very well. We visited on Saturday, the Yule log was outstanding.

We visited yesterday to try the Festive Menu!The food and drinks menu were varied with some great choices.Lovely cocktails too.I had two courses mainly because I just could not fit in desert Salmon and the Chicken terrine starter chosen by husband were absolutely delicious, beautifully presented as was the Christmas dinner we both had Absolutely perfect service really enjoyed our time, there a great start to our Christmas.

We spend many special occasions with you including my dad's 70th this week. We love the food, the staff are wonderful and the environment feels really festive. Thank you so much

We had an excellent meal at The Hopping Hare on Saturday 13th December to celebrate a birthday. The food was delicious and the service friendly and efficient. We were all very impressed and will be back in the near future. Thank you to the staff of The Hopping Hare for making it a memorable occasion.

Annual Christmas meal with friends 9 of us in total and it t went down very well. Everyone enjoyed the food the staff were brilliant and very attentive. We shall be booking for next year again. Thank you all the staff at The Hopping Hare for making it a wonderful luncheon.

Excellent lunch. Cannot fault, service good, food good. Will be back. All the food was amazing, but shout out for the absolutely amazing yule log. A pudding to die for.

Beautiful food and super friendly staff

Christmas meal with friends on 5/12/25 arrived atmosphere warm and welcoming all the staff friendly and efficient. All the food was delicious and hot including special requirement meal from a separate menu. The meals were excellent value and well presented made our evening special and we had a great time.

I have never had a bad meal at The Hopping Hare! The food is cooked and presented perfectly. The staff are very friendly and polite and nothing too much bother.
