The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonAlways wanted to come try this place and decided to group book for a special occasion. Monday evening and it wasn't busy but the atmosphere was still lovely and staff very welcoming. I tried looking for a menu online prior to booking but it seems the menu changes regularly/seasonally so it wasn't until we were here did I get to see what was on offer. The food menu was not expansive but what was on offer was definitely carefully thought-out and creative. This isn't your standard pub fare but is a pleasing gastronomic eatery, we got to try dishes we wouldn't normally have - it's not often I get wowed by how cabbage is cooked and tastes! The dessert was simplistic but presented well and tasted excellent. We all positively commented on the food and will likely come back again. I highly recommend this place if you enjoy and appreciate good food!

The Hopping Hare – NorthamptonA welcoming pub to walk into. Service was enpointe from the word go. Plenty of time given to settle and be ready to order. Food was first class - fish and chips for two - plenty to eat and very tasty and the battered fish was light. Deserts were good and filling and sweet.
