Everything was perfect the service is great , the food is fantastic we have been here a few and it’s always lovely .

Had lunch on Saturday, first visit & what an amazing lunch we had, incredible tapas selection, beautiful wine & such fabulous service. Very good value, the icing on the cake as we where about to leave we spotted some Portuguese custard tart & they where incredible. Will be back very soon.

Have been twice for lunch and both times very very pleasant. Lovely variety of tapas. Food tasted fresh and full of flavour. Service was friendly and non intrusive. Will be back :)

We received a very warm welcome on arrival. The dining room has a real nice feel to it. The waiting staff were very attentive and informative. We both had the garlic prawns to start - delicious. We then went for steak, they were succulent and very tasty. All In all a lovely evening. I look forward to a return visit

Amazing meal after being recommended by a friend. While the place isn’t massive, it didn’t feel overcrowded at all. Staff knew what they were talking about and were very friendly. Food was great, would definitely go again and recommend to a friend.

Really looked forward to going here for our wedding anniversary. The greeting was friendly as were all the staff. They explained the menu to us as it was our first visit. We ordered starters followed by steaks. The were absolutely divine. The best I think I’ve ever had. We were also offered a taste of a wine we had never had before , but after tasting decided to plumb for the Pinot noir. Delightful. Im afraid that this is where the full enjoyment began to wain for us. We were asked to move tables because of overbooking, then this small delightful little restaurant became overwhelmed with a cacophony of voices, in which everyone was trying to talk over the table next to them. We were offered a port and a custard tart, on the house which though nice were no real compensation for the noise. If you’re looking for a calm relaxing place to eat, I’m afraid I don’t think this is the place for you. Sorry

Our third visit and just as wonderful as ever. The service is the best, so friendly and knowledgable. The food delicious and a very good vino verde Nobody rushed us to leave, and hope we didn't outstay our welcome. Once again thank you so much

I just love eating here. The food is wonderful and the staff are lovely. We had the special tomahawk steak which was amazing. Can also recommend the iberico ham. The wine selection is perfect. Great food for kids who like things a little spicy. The only thing that would make it better would be a sparkling elderflower drink as the children like that.

Food and service here is always good. Staff are well informed about the dishes which helps customers decide..and it's great to have the choice of authentic Porgegues dishes. Small but perfectly formed dining experience ☺️

Really pleased to be back in Norwich for the first time after lockdown. Particularly pleased to eat at Jorge's again. It lived up to expectation. Lovely food, good wine list, friendly, helpful staff. Nice atmosphere. Next time we return to Norwich we'll look forward to a Jorge's meal.

Great Simple food cooked beautifully. Authentic Portuguese food. Would throughly recommend.

We visited here on Saturday night having booked a month earlier, having read the wonderful reviews. Wow, it was truly enjoyable ! We have Portuguese family and love their food. In every respect it was a memorable evening. The food was delicious (such an interesting and varied menu - starters were great and we shared a main platter - what a great idea). The steak and pork were wonderful - and the right portion size. Compliments to the chef. Cheese platter lovely, which we shared. The wine list does have the wines we drink in Portugal ! The staff were super attentive - one from Brazil and one from Portugal - how genuine is that !! They could not have been more friendly or helpful - and we did have quite a few questions ! Lovely atmosphere. We also thought it was very fair value for money. We were visiting Norwich as a weekend break. When we return, we shall be returning here, no question ! Thank you !

Our second visit to Jorge’s and again a lovely experience: nice warm atmosphere, excellent and friendly service and great food. Clams for a starter was simple but very tasty, and the fish and shellfish catalplana shared for the main course was delicious. Washed down with a superb vinyl verde and all reasonably priced. Definitely recommend and hope to return on our next visit to Norwich!
