Had a lovely lunchtime meal for our Wedding Anniversary. Service was expert, friendly but not too intrusive. Had several of the tapas, fantastic. All washed down with a nice bottle of red. Followed by a dessert each. Perfect.

Sometimes I think there is nothing I can add to another review following our latest visit to Jorges, but there always is, a new croquette with a really crispy outside, black beans with spicy sausage made into something like a coarse pate. The food never fails but then nor does the service, however Jorge chooses his staff, he certainly knows what he is doing. Thank you

Wonderful food and service at GoBifanas/Jorges tasca. We truly believe in Jorge’s cooking and absolutely loved the more relaxed feel with our children. The wine was superb and the food delicious. Our children were welcomed and Jorge answered all their questions about the food. It is an absolute haven in the city on a Saturday night and we would highly recommend it.

We had a last minute impromptu celebratory meal. We ordered the fish & seafood Cataplana & it was gorgeous! Fresh & flavourful! I highly recommend the garlic potatoes too! The waitresses were delightful & we overall enjoyed the ambiance! Thank you!

We’d got into the habit of always eating at the same places when in the city for theatre or cinema and this autumn decided to be more adventurous. I’m glad we did, as the food, wine, coffee and attentive service were all brilliant. It’s also architecturally interesting too, so a good find. I suspect this place will become a regular haunt, until that is, we decide to be adventurous again!

This is gem of a restaurant! The food is amazing and so are the staff! A little bit of Portugal in Norwich. We had been for lunch in the past and this time we had dinner, it was superb! We both had the fillet steaks supplied by “Tom Hixson of Smithfields” they were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The meat was served with skin on fries, pepper and onion salsa and peri peri sauce. The finest steak i have had for a long time!
