Excellent restaurant, service and food amazing

Always a pleasure to visit, the food is flavoursome and the steaks I have had were perfectly cooked. Nothing is too much trouble for Jorge and his staff.

Lovely little restaurant with good service, excellent wine and delicious food, our only suggestion would be a bowl of water to clean hands when tackling the enormous seafood sharing platter!

Pleasant ambience, customer service, venue, location, food and wine

This was probably our favourite restaurant out of the ones we visited during our stay in Norwich. The place is small but has a nice ambience as a result, and we were met at the door by Jorge himself. The menu isn't huge and neither are the portions but we enjoyed the food we had very much accompanied by a couple of very nice glasses of wine. If we return to Norwich again in the future, Jorge's would definitely be high on ur list of places to eat.

We visited Jorge's for the first time on Friday evening and we are already planning our next visit. The food was incredible and a great selection of wine. Great atmosphere and the service was spot on too. Thank you Jorge's for hosting our anniversary meal!

Staff, atmosphere and food- absolutely flawless. Highly recommend going if you’re in Norwich, a real hidden gem. Can’t wait to return!

Picked this restaurant at random after a day at Norfolk show and won many gold stars from my family for making such a fabulous discovery. Lovely atmosphere, great friendly and knowledgable service and just the best food. My wife lived in Portugal for some years and says its the best she's had in this country. We will definitely return and are recommending to friends.

Our first visit to Jorge’s having only moved here recently. A lovely, cozy restaurant with a great team of well-informed and friendly staff. We had the charcuterie sharing board to start - excellent, followed by five very authentic tapas - all of which were very good, washed down with a glass of Douro red. We shall definitely be back - looking forward to a Cataplana on the Dinner menu. Congratulations to a great team.

A lovely, cosy little restaurant with an authentic, rustic feel, tucked away in the heart of Norwich The tapas were all delicious- such a wonderful combination of flavours. Everyone was friendly and looked after us really well. I am gluten free and dairy free and they catered for me wonderfully. Thank you.

Lovely small restaurant with good food, well prepared, lovely staff and a great atmosphere. There is a good wine list of Portuguese wines. Jorges has two sittings, but if there isn't anyone booked for your table they are happy to stay longer than your two hour slot. Jorge was very flexible and accommodating. We had a lovely evening. Whilst this may not be the cheapest restaurant I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending

Jorge’s came a a recommendation from a friend and pleased to say that she is still a friend as the food, service and overall experience didn’t disappoint. It was also the second time of trying to get in as the first time we tried it was fully booked which is always a great sign. We both had a tapas dish to start, there are not many places you can find clams on the menu and these were brilliant cooked in a spicy tomato sauce, my husband had prawns in a garlicky sauce followed by a steak, which he said actually tasted like steak so has restored his faith in being able to get a good steak and I had the Portuguese beef with potatoes and egg, which was stunning. Thank you and as you can probably tell we will be going back in the near future.

As ever, food great, Jorge on point. Sadly very loud diners on neighbouring table made it hard to talk ! Little you could do to change that, I guess it's the chance you take in such an intimate space.

Greatly enjoyed our lunch at Jorge's. As usual it was relaxed, with good service. This is a charming oasis of Portuguese cooking.
