Great dinner and atmosphere. The ribs were amazing as well as the sharing platter. Host made us feel welcome, took us through the extensive wine list and selection worked so well with the meal. Dessert was lovely too. All round great dinner

So nice to find an independent restaurant that served great steaks and tapas in Norwich. Service was spot on all questions re food and portion sizes answered. Food was delicious we had steak and daughter had tapas. Amazing. Will return.

The Tuesday Tapas was fantastic. Four of us spending one night in Norwich were made to feel so welcome and thought it was definitely some of the most gorgeous food we had ever had. The almond tart and lavender ice cream made a wonderful end to the meal and the Portuguese wine a revelation. Lucky Norwich

We had a very enjoyable evening meal here. Jorge was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and the waiting staff were attentive without being intrusive. The food and wine were superb, the atmosphere was intimate and relaxed and we will be back!! Highly recommend.

Went to Jorges last night (21st May) with my wife, staff were absolutely fantastic,friendly, the food was top notch, we had the sea food platter and ate the lot nice intimate atmosphere, such an amazing find, and when we visit Norwich again we'll definitely come back, anyone considering this place, please go it's outstanding

Absolutely love Jorges! Every time we've been the food, service and atmosphere have been fantastic. Last time we took a couple of our friends who thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have since told many people about Jorges. I would definitely recommend Jorges to anyone who loves their food perfectly cooked and full to the brim with flavour. the staff here are brilliant and cannot do enough for you! We look forward to our next meal here!

Everything about this wonderful little place was first rate. From the warm and friendly welcome and service to the excellent wine list to the wonderful menu, the whole experience was just perfect. I would thoroughly recommend this intimate and friendly restaurant - beautiful Portuguese cooking at its best!

Nice bright modern restaurant/seating area however felt it lacked atmosphere. Very little on the menu to cater for dietary requirements (was aware of this at time of booking). Food was ok, service was good.

A trustful and genuine rendition of some classics of the Portuguese cuisine. As a Portuguese I strongly recommend the place.

Absolutely AMAZING food, BRILLIANT service and definitely recommend a visit!!

I wouldn't usually write a review every time I visit a restaurant, but somehow Jorges deserves it. It is such a unique place, just the right size, a gentle buzz of conversations, but nothing that can be overheard. The owner and his staff are so very welcoming, service is perfect, not at all intrusive and the food gets better all the time, This time we tried the sardines, which we hadn't seen before, so delicious we ordered them again. I cannot offer high enough praise for this wonderful restaurant. I travel from Colchester and my friend from Cambridge just to meet and eat at Jorges, well worth the journey - thank you.
