Being vegan I liked that the vegetarian options could be altered to be vegan. Service was great, didn't feel rushed and the food was served with a good space between courses. Would definitely recommend and will return next time we are in Penrith

Grants Of Castlegate – PenrithNice cosy pub, and friendly service. Great to see lots of choices for gluten and lactose/dairy intolerance; and the food was excellent! I didn't have the brownie for pudding as I was already full of delicious fish and chips, and GF brownie is so often dry and hard, but my other half did, and it was reportedly very good - soft and squidgy, just like it should be. Will definitely eat there again if the opportunity arises!

We all enjoyed tasty traditional roast suppers and the service was friendly and efficient. The beer was't up to much though!
