Enjoyed lunch and cocktails to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Good food and great cocktails - can recommend the Bramble cocktail! A lovely way to celebrate.

EXCELLENT MEAL AND EXCELLENT SERVICE

Unfortunately the food was absolutely terrible and when told the staff just replied oh sorry about that! Not interested in why! Had chicken bites a sticky mess, hot thyme pizza undercooked. Staff more interested in socialising with each other and they were dressed scruffy.

Hi attended for coffee and cake with friends. Just wanted to let you know that the cakes were not up to your usual standard. We have been numerous times and always had great cakes. The plain scone was very undercooked, was exchanged at the time but second one still soggy. Coffee cake was very dry. Hopefully cakes will be back to normal next time we come

Excellent meal . The gravlix was the best I have ever had anywhere. The venison was delicious , the only criticism I gave is that the meal went cold quickly on cold plates . Vegetables were different and tasty. All good

Great cafe/restaurant. Lovely food. Will be going again. Toilets need some attention, broken toilet seat in disabled toilets and gents not the cleanest.

Super lunch with my sister. It’s fast becoming our favourite place….we’re never disappointed. The food was hearty and delicious. Service impeccable and most of all friendly. Such a lovely atmosphere.

Beautiful food, great service and even better its dog friendly. Going back tonight.

On entering there was a lovely warm and friendly welcome.We both had the roast beef which was delicious and plentiful.The new owners are doing a fantastic job creating such a cosy atmosphere.Definitely recommend !

Enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday. With a friend I’d not seen for a while and who hadn’t been to Thyme before. Food was beautiful, service great and never felt rushed.

I wish I didn’t have to say anything but I wasn’t happy with our fish chips and mushy peas we found our fish was over cooked the peas were bland and tasted like frozen peas that had been in a blender and the meal was just warm .

Evening meal was excellent and good service as usual. Never had a bad meal here and they do lovely coffee and cakes during the day
