I read with interest an article in the evening gazette how newcomers are welcomed with a 'cheery hello', this was not my experience. My two daughters, daughter in lasw along with 5 friends went one evening in March at 7.30. to celebrate the birthday of one of my daughters. Nobody greeted us in fact we had to draw the attention of a young man taking an order at the table next to us, this was45 minutes later. Nobody saw us to a table or explained anything, this was our first visit. Drinks finally arrived then spilled over two of us, an accident I appreciate but we then had to wait an age for them to return with the drinks that had been spilled. The food was o.k. but not enough for eight of us, we left hungry. All in all our first experience was not a happy one . Customer service was greatly lacking.
