My friend and I both really enjoyed our lunch in particular the creme brules. The service was good with lovely pleasant enthusiastic waitresses

We ordered our food at 20:50 and ended up getting our food at 22:20. Order your food at the bar and drinks or face paying a service fee for 0 service and waiting much longer than others who order at the bar. A customer we sat next to who were also waiting over an hour for their app order, were told by a member of the bar staff that they “don’t pay attention to the app orders”. Why do you have signs on every table to order through the app if they don’t pay attention? It was a busy night but just unacceptable to have customers paying a service fee for poor service. We ended up getting 2 free drinks which is fair just make sure you don’t order or pay a service fee through the app, food was pretty mid for the wait time and price. We have been coming here for a while and hope it’s different the next time we come.

2 of us went on Friday evening. Service was excellent, the food second to none and a great atmosphere. We've been before and will definitely be returning. We're trying the breakfast next weekend. Can't wait.

Lovely afternoon tea. Curried parsnip soup was delicious. Parma ham and parmesan croquette, thai crab cake, chips and a selection of freshly made sandwiches. 3 mini cakes and a pot of tea. Lovely venue and great service. Definitely recommend

Myself and my friend who do not go out often came here 2 weeks on a Friday evening and had a lovely time. The waiters/waitress were polite and friendly, the food was good and the cocktails excellent we had a few and some recommended to us too. Thank you for a lovely evening we will be back

Last minute booking for prime Saturday night accommodated with ease and simplicity. A very enjoyable meal and well served, not rushed. Lovely varied menu with plenty to suit all tastes. Our teabagless pot of tea was sorted in good spirit and caused some amusement for us and the staff. We shall definitely be returning.

Our favourite place for Sunday lunch. Excellent freshly prepared food and attentive service with a smile. We have also been for Tapas, which was also delicious. Must try breakfast too.

Another delicious Sunday lunch yesterday this time we brought two family members who were impressed by the quality, presentation and reasonable price of the food. One diner is a vegetarian and thoroughly enjoyed the nut roast. The starters and puddings all fabulous and the service friendly and excellent. We are lucky to have this restaurant so close to home and intend to visit again soon. Highly recommend.

We had afternoon tea on a Sunday afternoon. The food was very good, everything tasted fresh, we were offered alternative sandwiches and service was quite quick. The waitresses were both polite and attentive. We would definitely return!

We went Saturday evening; just lovely service with friendly staff, and all four starters and mains were fantastic (a mix of fish and meat). It was our first time - we will be back.

Really great set lunchtime menu and a really good wine. Only issue is needed some vanilla pod and the top freshly heated in an otherwise very good crème brûlée.

We had a wonderful meal celebrating my husbands 60th birthday. It was easily booked for 5 of us and clearly marked table. Food excellent and service very good.

I came here on Saturday for my birthday with my parents, and we had a lovely time. I had steak (cooked to perfection), my mum had one of the specials and my dad had the salmon curry. We all loved our meals - big portions, fresh and really tasty. The service was great - especially a couple of the young lads who were super friendly and smiley. Thank you!

No dessert only cookies, nothing less than £8 for lunch (no soup or lighter meals). Very very noisy
