Preston in Lancashire is a cosmopolitan city located on the River Ribble and is also the home of the University of Central Lancashire (UCLAN). Many restaurants and food pubs can be found in the city centre and its suburbs.

This place was closed last time I was in the Inglewhite area but has had a total refurb and been given a new lease of life. Very impressed with the interior and planning to go back to eat here soon.

We have been dining here for years and every time we leave extremely happy customers!! Our last meal here was for 35 people and the manager was so helpful via email, getting the meal and requirements perfect for us. (The vegan options created for us were superb!!!!) The staff were super polite and the service and evening was amazing. Fantastic prices, incredible food (large, varied selection to choose from too) and even our tables were dressed beautifully! Thankyou Team Duk!

We got lost trying to find a football programme fair and stumbled across Huntleys and I'm glad we did.

I really enjoyed the Walled Garden today. Wednesday lunch was busy, which says quite a lot. They have a new chef and his food was tasty and well presented. I will be back.

Well cooked tasty meal served with politeness. Only criticism would be, the dining room was rather cold. Time visited was about 6.30 pm. I have caught a chill which is what I did not order.

We had a group meal at the Preston restaurant and found the food and hospitality excellent. Highly recommended.

What a fantastic place. We were all blown away. It looks cool and funky. The service was very professional and friendly. The food was excellent and filling (it's hot and spicy be warned though!). It's open all day and has a great cocktail list. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as this. A really good menu too that I want to work through.

My husband and I took a friend out to a meal here on Friday last. We all had fish and chips and basically afterwards we all agreed it was nearly inedible, The fish was completely dry and tasteless, the mushy peas were cold and the chips were undercooked, As we were treating someone we did not complain at the time, but wish we had done.We have eaten here frequently and had very goods meals, but since it became self-service we find the whole place has gone downhill and this was the rock bottom. We will certainly not be going there again.

Best indian take away in Preston. Service and staff exceptional, food consistently good. Always willing to advise on dishes.

Had a great lunch on my own at Slice of Sicily. A fine Sicilian pizza and a coffee. Managed to get a lot of work done on their Wi-Fi. Great spot just off the motorway in Fulwood near the hospital.

Drinking mojitos, eating jerk chicken and curried goat, best Sunday ever.

A superior Indian restaurant in terms of food quality, presentation and their take on famous Indian dishes. Service was good. The food took a while to arrive which I saw as a positive. In many Indian venues the food appears in seconds, reheated. Here it would appear they cook to order. The Chapati bread was the best I have had as it was fresh and tender. Why do other lesser Indian restaurants serve old breads and popodoms? It's insulting that such basic foods are not fresh. The place looks a bit naff. Perhaps they think it cool and contemporary. We felt it looked dated, which is a problem with restaurants who go for trendy styling. Anyway, I went for a good curry and I got one. Would recommend.

We enjoyed a very nice lunch at the Plough at Eaves last week. It was very busy which is always a good sign. We are going back for dinner soon!

We went to the grand opening of the Olive Tree Brasserie last night. First impressions were great! A perfect location in Preston at the Miller Arcade. Its cool and sleek without being over contemporary- which always dates so quick. It's airy and bright with its floor to ceiling windows on two sides. Open kitchen, bench and booth seating. Our canapes were a very good interpretation of the full menu. Juicy and succulent Greek and Mediterranean treats, served by young and cool waiting staff. I expect the restaurant will do very well and look forward to dining next time I'm in Preston.

I had a fantastic steak from The NYC Steakhouse, one of the best I have ever had. However the sauce was very poor in comparison. Not sure about the decor, just not to my taste, it's all black.

Ok for the price, but have had better elsewhere for fish and chips.

Went to a 40th birthday party and was very disappointed with their bar prices, other guests mentioned this also so it just wasn't me. It was one of the only 40ths I've attended where the majority of guests were still sober at the end of the night - if invited to another event at Bartle Hall I would definitely make an excuse and avoid. By having smaller profit margins I'm sure they could reap higher profits.
