I celebrated my birthday bash and it was out of this world! The staff were very friendly indeed. The quality of food is outstanding - melts in your mouth! Would most definitely visit on a regular basis. The manageress is very nice and friendly - always provides a smile with the service!

I was very impressed with both service and food and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food, good company and fantastic value for money. In addition the atmosphere in the restaurant that night was fantastic, with my group having a memorable evening. Thank you again to Nino's staff and Alex.

By far the best bar in Rawtenstall - once inside, you would think you were in an upper-class, trendy Manchester establishment. The drinks are a little bit more pricey than the usual "run-of-the-mill" watering holes in the town, but this is far in excess of "run-of-the-mill" and well worth paying the extra money for. However, when compared with similar type venues in other, larger towns and cities, the prices appear average. The food is great too, with a good selection - the wedges and dips are my top tip! The atmosphere is fantastic - there is a great vibe about the place. The music is loud, but not too loud so that you cannot hold a conversation. There is comfortable seating too, which is just a great bonus and helps you to relax. On summer days, when the sun is cracking the flags, there are numerous tables to the front of the bar - actually outside on a small patio area - the perfect place to sit with a chilled bottle of wine or a cold beer on a hot summers evening. The staff are always very accommodating, and not once have they attempted to hurry us out the door after having consumed food and drinks. The staff are always friendly and chatting - despite being (usually) run off their feet. Overall, the best place in town!

We visited the Spanish Tapas restaurant, the Casa Tapas tonight, Sunday 22April 2007. The place was beautiful. The menu was varied, the food well cooked and presented. We also found the staff pleasant and eager to please. Finally, the restaurant was a joy to be eat in and to relax in. Thank you, we'll be going back again.

My wife and i have been going to ninos for the last 15 years, maybe twice a year, infact i proposed to my wife at ninos, the food at that time was superb, sadly the last 2 times we have been there my fillet steak has been a bit on the tough side, to there credit they didn? charge me for my steak, however i did wonder if as they have expanded have they started to get a bit complacent regarding the quality of there produce. Anyway August the 11th is my wife? 50th and we will be going there with a party of friends so i will see if things have changed. martin and Tricia King.

Once you have had a taste of the Spanish cuisine at the casa tapas you will never want to go any where else. BRILLIANT PLACE!

This lovely bar with mezzanine has turned around the fortunes of those of us that want a bit of chilled out space in town. The couple who run it are great, the staff are friendly and the choice of drinks really good. Tim makes all his own shots, the chilli one being the best. Food is good, even for veggies and there is rumour of great value organic wines on the menu for Spring. Check out the comedy night once a month for some top laughs too.

This is a fantastic restaurant. We love Spain and love spanish food and this place was heaven. The Tapas menu if very extensive and there is a lot to choose from. They also have menu for cold and warm tapas. The food is delicious. The staff are so friendly, we even got a free shot of liquor!. I think they also have live music on some days. Love it.

Excellent food and wine. Very little waiting time. Only one criticism - the staff were smoking in between serving the food.

How refreshing to stumble across such an inviting eatery, which manages to achieve an effortless balance of cool overtones, excellent fresh food, welcoming staff and a reassuring lack of pretension. I firmly recommend this to fellow discerning customers in search of the perfect cafe bar.

This hidden gem is excellent in every way but I would thoroughly recommend the dinner meal-deal. For a mere five English pounds, one can eat like a King! Spring rolls or Soup... the $64,000 question. One thing is for certain, you can never have too much soy, even on the ice cream. "It's wearlly wearlly good!"

i hate to be boring but every time i see my girl friend in Rawtenstall we always go to this restaurant. the staff always smile they are kind they will answer any questions. they have time for you and they now know us very very well. the food is fantastic!!! starters from £3.50 -£7.50 main courses £6 upwards pasta pizza fish meat main courses fantastic wines. i have never enjoyed somewhere as much as ninos. you would have thought im the manager writing this with so much praise hehe i would recommend this restaurant to anyone. its always packed groups of 8 in parties birthdays celebrations.

A comfortable relaxed atmosphere, with friendly staff who don? rush you. We have spent many an evening there with friends, chatting and drinking till late, without feeling under pressure to leave. The food is excellent and the chef will alter dishes to individual needs.

A Real Gem - I don't normally like chinese food but this place isn't normal chinese. the squid, scallops and prawn starters were delicious. The Prawn main course was exceptional. A delightful menu, beautiful food and well worth a visit. Its so good we are going to make a 60 mile return journey for my wife's birthday.

Situated in a row of shops the external view is very deceptive the Nila is quite large inside tables near the bar and 2 long rows of alcove seats. I have been there a few times and the food has always been good and the menu is ok with no surprises. The alcove seating is fine for 4 people but the seating at the front of the restaurant which accommodates larger parties is too near the bar and can be cold in winter with the door always opening. The service is fine and usually has a pleasant atmosphere. Overall I've had good meals and good times. I could recommend a visit.

This is a beautiful restaurant with amazing food. It looks nothing from the outside but venture in and taste the delights that await you. We have just paid our second visit here after making many trips to Nino's Italian restaurant just up the road from here. What a delight we have been missing all this time. Our second visit was even better than our first. On Friday and Saturday evening there is a classical/flamenco guitarist Robin Hill who is superb and creates the perfect atmosphere for enjoying Tapas food cooked to perfection. Do not delay book your table now and see what you are also missing.

A real gem! Lovely interior, very friendly, helpful staff. Menu has lots of choices all of which sound so tempting it was hard to know what to pick. The food is really fresh and the ingredients are the quality you would buy for yourself and family, rather than the cheaper catering alternatives which so many places serve up. I would recommend with confidence to anyone.
