Ate here for the first time. Our food was delicious, we had 8 dishes between 4 and it was plenty. Cocktails great too. The service was fabulous, very pleasant and knowledgeable staff.

went for Fathers day Sunday lunch. prompt service, the Sunday roast was beautiful, hot and extra gravy. the cauliflower cheese was exceptional. had the Bakewell tart which again was exceptional, would recommend it.

Yet again it was a first class meal, service and atmosphere..! All of the staff must go to some super school or something as they are polite, knowledgeable and attentive..! I cannot rate the whole experience high enough. Thankyou..

Booked a table for six people and each of us had a lovely meal without exception. The service was excellent and we would have no hesitation in coming back.

We are regular at the witchaff but I must say the food was a little disappointing this time, starters were great, mains were wraps which was quite bland and not very warm, dessert took ages which we had to chase and the brownie (our favourite) was bitty and cold. May have been as it was Sunday and busy, staff was mostly excellent

Six of us including one child celebrating a 70th birthday. Lovely meal, waiter was amazing. Restaurant looking a bit tired but certainly spotless. Good menu. Three of our party most disappointed there was no tiramisu. Our waiter was excellent with the little girl.

We went to the restaurant with friends. We chose the set menu. There is a lot of items to choose from and very reasonably priced. The food was excellent and the waitress was lovely and very personable. We will look forward to returning.

Another lovely meal at The Whitchaff. It was a Friday night so it was a good job I'd booked. We shared one of the delicious platters over a bottle of wine followed by coffee. Although busy, the service was spot on and we couldn't fault the food, which was plenty for two people.

Great local pub with a great atmosphere & friendly staff. The food is good & the beer garden is wonderful on a sunny day where dogs are welcome in there with open paws.

Table ready on arrival. The food came quite quickly and tasted amazing. The king prawns were something else!! Service excellent. Will definitely visit again.

Can’t fault this place. Excellent food and excellent service in a pleasant setting. Steak and Stilton pie is delicious. The rest of the menu looks great, planning a lunchtime visit to try one of the sharing platters
