myself and my husband arrived for are evening meal that we book online for 8pm slot, the pub and restaurant seemed very busy which i consider a good sign to anyone who as never visited before. However we have been to the whitchaff several times before and love it there, the bar was but que went down quickly. we decided to sit at the bar as the lovely guy who served us said that are table wasn't ready yet which was perfectly fine, and we don't mind waiting. The staff were all busy a all knew what they were doing and all polite. we was shown to are table about 30 mins later and was given plenty of time to decide what to choose to eat, with a very great selection of different dishes. something for everyone. Our starters arrived and the food was piping hot and very very. The main course was also just as good, unfortunately I didn't have room for a dessert. we had a couple of drinks afterwards and sat at the bar again, my only criticism i have is that the staff give you the impression that they want you to leave when you have finished your food and its not the first time they have made us feel like that. maybe that's why that place is empty bye 9.45pm on Saturday night.

we had a lovely meal last night. A cosy table with a nice atmosphere too. We shared chipolatas for starters and then I had black pudding hash browns with pulled pork fries. My husband had the steak pie with stilton. Thoroughly enjoyed everything

We had a booking of 20 people but that didn’t affect the great service received. Food was fabulous as was the service

Food was lovely informed that systems were down and may have to waitfor food, that was fine as had time to catch up. with family, didnt feel rushed for time, great food and goid chices of drinks . Was a Bank holiday busy day but enjoyed it . Will keep comming excellent choices of foods not like some restaurants. Grt all round sticky toffee pudding was delish !

Our favourite Italian restaurant!! Excellent food at reasonable prices, friendly and efficient service from lovely staff and a very pleasant atmosphere. What's not to like?

Not been in since the refurbishment as we moved away from Rossendale. Interior looks great and the menu choices are excellent. Great service and friendly staff . Would definitely visit again.

We popped for lunch on the advice of friends. I had the black pudding hash browns , my partner had the garlic mushrooms. Both starters were pleasant and tasteful . Our mains were the Malaysian king prawn curry and pork and leek sausages with mustard mash . Again both dishes were excellent and plentiful. For dessert we had sticky toffee pudding with custard and banana and fudge sundae which were so good and the helpings were large . We are going bring family members next time and recommend this eaterie to anyone.
