Smart and welcoming surroundings. Pleasant and efficient staff. Good choice on menu. All three meals in our party were enjoyed. We are return customers and will visit again in the near future.

This is the second time I’ve visited this restaurant and it was equally delicious. We ordered our drinks and it came quick enough, it took a bit of time to order our food but we were talking so not a problem. The food arrived in good time and was gorgeous. We will be back soon

Booked for Valentine's lunch and got our first view of the changes to the pub, which are very impressive. We both really enjoyed our food and the service was excellent. Will be returning soon.

Starter nice, I did send my main meal back as chicken quite pink but dealt with by staff.

Really pleasant surprise when we turned up on Valentines day after not being for a long time. The new refurbishment looks really well and welcoming. nice and spaced out so you are not sitting on top of the table next to you. Really friendly staff. The food was really lovely. We will be back. A little bit dearer than i would have expected but was very nice.

Lovely atmosphere and great food. The time restrictions meant we were on edge the whole time - we were reminded twice of the 1.5 hour policy; once on arrival and again when we were finishing our meals. Turning tables is fine, - ordering needs to be quicker (and slicker) with timely service to avoid the ‘rushed’ feeling.

Unfortunately on this visit the food was not to the standard we expected, the fish pie was too runny and the pieces of fish too small, the seasonal veg were boring would have been improved with some butter. The beef burger was very lacking in flavour and the fries not as nice as the ones we had on the last visit. A real Shane as we rated really highly on our last visit

Huge change from the old whitchaff! You wouldn’t recognise it.. the food was excellent but few vegetarian/vegan choices.. it has a good atmosphere and staff were attentive and friendly. Reasonable value as well. We would recommend the whitchaff to freinds and family.

The food was great as usual and thank you for bringing the 2 cakes out and for catering for our party of 20 people. Just one small negative which was the talking point after the meal. We were rushed off our table by a quite rude waitress, this after you made us wait 20-30 mins for our table in the first place! Disappointing end to a wonderful meal!
