Nice welcome. Menu is very good - one of our party is GF and so had plenty of items to choose from the menu. I had Haggis Chicken - absolutely fab; a very generous portion for £16 and my wife and son had the GF penne fajita chicken which they enjoyed. Wine was excellent - we had the Merlot which was great. Service good. This was our first time in Crumb - we will return! Thanks to all.

Halloumi and garlic mushrooms to start, both delicious. French dip, beef short rib and chicken parma were all perfect. Portions are generous. Will find an excuse to return to Dumfries and Crumb again soon!
Crumb – DumfriesReally pleasant place, the staff were welcoming and very helpful. The food was exceptional especially the Golden Syrup Sponge and custard, just like Mum use to make. Extremely enjoyable meal.

Ravelston House – EdinburghUnfortunately our experience at the Ravelston was not great. Menu had limited options and when trying to order they did not have some of the dishes on the menu. Staff attitude could have been better. My auntie has health issues and ask if she could have a small fish on its own. She was charged £10 for this. We won't be back and was disappointed.

The only thing is that it can be quite noisy, the room has an echo so I really struggled to hear when someone was speaking to me. I don’t think there is anything that can be done about this though. Also please add an espresso martini to your cocktail list!
