Crumb – DumfriesWe celebrated our Golden Wedding with family and friends, 20 people in total in the small dining room on 12th June, absolutely first class experience , staff were very friendly and helpful, we all enjoyed a 3 course meal and drinks , cannot praise kitchen, servers and bar staff enough for truly great service, they made our golden anniversary a very special occasion, food was tremendous, and servers did wonders in serving our food and drinks in a very friendly and efficient manner, will certainly return in the future, I strongly recommend Bathgate Golf Club dining experience to all. Unsure if this is to do with covid rules but felt a little comfortable on an already cold rainy day. Staff were friendly and right away asked us for our drinks order but I would have preferred a minute more to take our seat and jackets/masks off. The food especially the dessert was amazing. Presentation was superb and lovely flavours. Brilliant value and choice and our entire party of 7 were full for the rest of the day. Maybe a light background music and sheer drapes round the windows would warm the place up. Definitely be back though as minor things.

Crumb – DumfriesWe decided at the last minute to go out for Sunday lunch. It was our first post lockdown meal out and so pleased that we picked Crumb. Booking online was very easy and a confirmation email arrived promptly. Staff were very welcoming on arrival and did not bombard us with safety advice re Covid, which was much appreciated. The safety signage was clear and it did feel safe. The menu was good and waiting staff gave us plenty of time to select. They even gave us a sample of a dessert that we wanted to try. Food was delicious, cooked to perfection. The staff were very friendly and conscientious. We will definitely be back.
