Hands down favourite! Delightful little restaurant tucked away on a side street of Stromness. The food is thoughtfully prepared with incredible ingredients much of which is locally sourced. Gorgeous in every way! Couldn’t recommend it more.

Hamnavoe – Orkneys and ShetlandsHad a fab meal for 4 last night at the half price Wednesday. We all had starters of the grilled prawns with mango and cucumber and it was delicious . Our main meals were the haddock , curry, sea bass and steak pie and the meals were excellent . There’s always room for a pudding so asked if they did an ice cream sundae and it did not disappoint! A three course meal with a drink each cost us £22.00. Love the Ravelston !

Loved the home cooked onion rings and my partner loved the burger however the philli steak baguette was disappointing. As they used slice of cheese that wasn’t even melted, the steak made up for that but if you are having this on the menu the cheese needs to melted through the steak. So disappointed with this choice. All in all would return and make different choices. So handy for the the Kings and very pleasant staff.

The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated to a high standard. Great music playing!! It was well priced for what you got. We look forward to returning when back in the area.

Steak and Cherry – GlasgowWas down visiting Glasgow and came in for the most delicious food before our Coldplay concert. Food was hot, flavourful and steak was cooked perfectly! Staff were lovely and so accommodating to us, nothing was too much and we have recommended to our friends who are in Glasgow tonight so they are going to visit!
