We had a lovely lunch in Cronies Bar, we had difficulty in getting through on phone & email trying to book. Staff were very good & surroundings excellent. Would highly recommend.

The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingLovely setting, staff very friendly. I had fish and chips, whilst fish was very tasty, the fish and small portion of chips were cold as was the crumble I had for dessert. Expensive for a lunch.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingWe had such a wonderful time at the left bank, service was great from the time i made the booking till we left the restaurant. Food was good. The Christmas drinks were yummy. Thankful to all the staff for the good vibes and great service. Will be back.
The Left Bank – Glasgow5 star!
Ravelston House – EdinburghI’m afraid that our meal was disappointing and mediocre. The AC in the dining room blew out cold air throughout our visit despite the outside temperature being 4c on a cold November day. Although the plates were hot, the food was not , no complaint about the food itself. The service was slow. The meals for two of our party were brought but the other two had to wait 30 mins for theirs, in effect we ate separately, not what was intended for a family birthday lunch. Our order for teas & coffees got lost, we waited 30 mins for those & had to re-order. The serving staff were doing their best butI’m not encouraged to come back.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingGreat menu and value for money for the 2 course lunch deal. Service was excellent.
Ravelston House – EdinburghReally good food but we waited 40 mins for fish n chips and steak pie. Too long for me but as I say good food and with the half price deal then worth it. Not sure if would pay the full price though for the mains
Ravelston House – EdinburghI have been to left bank many times for brunch but this is first visit in the evening. Food was excellent and a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Staff were all very attentive without being intrusive and friendly. Great evening
The Left Bank – GlasgowAbsolutely delicious and wonderful service! We will be back when we're next in Scotland!
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeBeautiful food and nice vibe! Would definitely recommend :)
Ravelston House – EdinburghBeen coming to golden lion for years. In for lunch yesterday and disappointed. Soup was luke warm and sandwiches were too big...preferred when quartered easier to eat, tuna also bland, ordered tuna and red onion but it was tuna with 2 large red onion rings on top.
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingI found the service and food to be top notch
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingBooked a table yesterday evening. Really nice meal and service. Are waitress Susan was very professional and friendly.
Ravelston House – EdinburghThe service was lovely, it was fast and lady was lovely who served our food and drinks. The food was lovely and fresh, good sized portions and good deal on the food for November. The atmosphere was a bit dull, could do with the room being brighter and more welcoming like the bar area.
Ravelston House – EdinburghFirst time at The Golden Lion for a meal. Super dining experience, lovely food and very welcoming staff. Really set our night out off to a great start. Great atmosphere too, will definitely be back!
The Golden Lion Hotel – StirlingBeen eating at Cafe Fish for over 12 years and it never gets old. Some of the best seafood I have eaten with good service and helpful staff. I fish myself and so know fresh well cooked fish - they do it well. Always a pilgrimage on our visits to Mull.
Cafe Fish – Argyll and ButeWent for High Tea on Sunday afternoon. Has been redecorated since we were last there, giving it a smarter appearance. Service was friendly and very good. Food was very tasty. Sadly we were the only couple in at the time, hopefully this was the lull before Christmas rush.
The Golden Lion Hotel – Stirling2 courses for £16. Available Monday to Friday until 7pm.
