One of the best Sunday lunches I have had in years. The beef was amazing and tender. The service was excellent. Would definitely return.

Food never misses. Quite easily the best pub food in Shields. Sunday lunch was 10 out of 10 and they give extra gravy as standard.

We went for Sunday dinner at 1pm, the staff were great and showed us to our seats, then asked what we would like to drink, which was promptly served. We then ordered our meals, I ordered liver and onions while the wife ordered featherblade beef Sunday dinner. It did not take long for them to be served, both meals were delicious and plentiful, staff very friendly and professional could not fault our experience, looking forward to going back.

Had fab lunch on BH Monday 3 courses soup and potato skins starters, 2 mains salmon with new potatoes and greens absolutely delicious. Hubbys main was veggie burger and chips. Deserts was lemon sponge and custard and the chocolate fudge cake x Plus drinks. Food and drink is always amazing tasty good portions. Lovely restaurant and amazing staff and service despite the busyness . One of our favourite places to go to xx

WOW The meal was gorgeous and the portion sizes are amazing for the price. Staff are lovely, very helpful and attentive. All four of us were impressed and thoroughly enjoyed out night. Thank you :)

A lovely waitress looked after us during our visit and we were seated and drink orders taken promptly. The food was hot delicious and the portions were large. We were too full for dessert but looking around other people's looked lovely. This was our first visit but we will certainly be back!

Had a excellent meal on St George's Day. Both my wife and I couldn't fault it. I would recommend this pub for a good hearty meal.

Walked in to be greeted by a very polite waitress who showed us our table. Within minutes another waitress came for the drinks order. The biggest problem we had all night was trying to pick what to eat as everything looks amazing. When ours arrived the portions are massive and all cooked to perfection. Definitely the best place in South Shields to eat now and the staff are a credit to them. They could double the prices and I would still go back.
