An excellent location for lunch with fresh air and a view of Box Hill. Friendly and efficient service, with attention to detail. The staff want you to enjoy the experience. Our chacuterie platter and super food salad were fresh and tasty. A glass of Surrey Gold and a plum tart both excellent.

Another great time at Denbies. Lovely panini, glass of wine and coffees with 3 friends I haven’t seen for ages. The service was excellent, food tasty, atmosphere good and we didn’t feel pushed to hurry up and go, even though it was a Sunday lunchtime. My second visit in 7 days, and will soon be back again!

What joy to be out again! Denbies made the seating area pretty with fairy lights all round, the staff were welcoming and attentive - all round most enjoyable! Will definitely be going back!!

We really enjoyed having lunch at the Hatch on the Lawn at Denbies yesterday. We choose the fish and chips which were excellent as was the desert of the day. The staff who were really friendly and welcoming provided excellent service so our food arrived promptly even though they were fairly busy. Its so nice to be able to go out to eat again, we felt really safe as it was all well organised and we will definitely be back before too long.

We had a lovely meal at Denbies. The food, paninis, were delicious, the staff were really friendly & attentive. Sitting outside was a real pleasure. I hope the Hatch on the Lawn dinning continues even after indoor restrictions are lifted.

Had a lovely lunch at the Hatch on the Lawn this week. The staff were very friendly, and we felt very safe. The food we chose (Paninis) were great and it was a lovely setting to have our first "eat out" meal since lockdown.

Delicious meal ( pie of the day), excellent service and a most enjoyable experience. The weather was beautiful, too.

A lovely addition to Denbies, so nice to sit down in a lovely setting and with a menu that hasn’t got silly prices attached to it. I had a lovely super food salad and my partner a panini. I have now made several bookings and will be back for lunches and afternoon tea. Served by lovely staff and the bonus of a Denbies walk before or after. Perfect .

Lovely visit to Denbies yesterday - browsed in the shop; purchased wine and had lunch on the lawn. Good food and friendly staff; excellent service and the sun shone!

Everyone, from manager to waiting staff, bent over backwards to not only accommodate us but to look after us when we arrived. Staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food and wine were good too! Will definitely return for more of the same.

Food was decent, nothing spectacular. However, would have preferred to not have used disposable cups while sitting down, created additional waste for no particular reason.

Service was excellent and lovely outdoor spot for a sunny Sunday when we were there. Food is cafe style, fairly basic menu, but reasonably priced.

Went out for a delayed birthday lunch. Fish and chips, Denbies sparkling wine and beautiful views of the Surrey Hills - what bliss after weeks of lockdown. The staff were delightful and the service excellent. Coming back for afternoon tea.

Denbies will always be a special place for us and yesterday's visit was perfect. A beautiful day, spectacular views from the train and tasty food at the Hatch accompanied by gorgeous wine Will definitely be coming back soon.
