We’ve been coming to Site since it first opened and have never had a bad meal. Always freshly cooked and served piping hot. The thin crust pizzas are perfect, lots of toppings and I love the tiny peppers. Staff are always happy to customise pizzas as we’re veggie. Good wines, gorgeous deserts and cocktails. Lovely and cosy in the winter with the wood burner and delightful courtyard for alfresco summer dining. Jess and her team do a brilliant job. Always a friendly welcome and Matt is the best pizza chef. I’m really glad we’ve got Site Pizza here in Todmorden we love eating here.

I had high expectations as my friends recommended and said it was really good. We arrived and was placed in the back room out the way. We was practically ignored by staff after the food order was made. I never got asked once if everything (food) was OK until we was leaving when I made a complaint about being overcharged on my bill by £13. The coke was flat also. Service was very poor I had to ask twice if I could have another drink and my partners drink was forgot about I had to ask for it again and still took ages to finally get to the table. Food was good its a shame about everything else.

In my opinion, between Hardie’s and Site, you just won’t find another place as good in Todmorden. I’ve been countless time to site, and each and every time I am blown away by just how good to food is, the value of the food is. The friendliness and professionalism from the staff is exceptional, even when they’re under mass amounts of pressure like a stinking hot day and a full house was yesterday. Attentive, smiley and polite. We had a table of 6 and the food was brought out quickly, it was hot and delicious, the drinks were constantly flowing, and if you’ve not dined out in the secret garden on a Summer’s day - you are genuinely missing out. It’s a beautiful setting that feels truly magical. As always, thank you Site. I am sure we will see you again soon.

Delicious pizza - so authentic

Booked a table for Father's Day to treat my parents, they absolutely loved the food and we all thought it was good value for money. The only two small things that were negative was the music was very loud and we had to ask for it to be turned down and the limited vegan options. But we would definitely visit again! Staff were very nice. Definitely recommend

Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff

Beautiful sunny day paired well with a lovely meal, lovely staff and good play area so even the little ones enjoyed themselves. Also their cider is delicious. We go there regularly now.

Great food great service.

Went for a sunday lunch 4* food, found it to be better when you used to get your own individual veg portion instead of a sharing bowl. The beef was lovely and you got a lot of it, my only fault on the food is that the last couple of times I have been the roasties have been quite hard, but other than that food is fab! You get a much better dining experience when you are sat in the restaurant not so good if you end up being sat in the bar area. Waitresses were all nice and polite, but I didn't like being questioned as to why I needed a spoon when I asked for one at the bar (I didn't receive one with my veg or cauliflower cheese). Quick service and reasonably priced always busy on a Sunday so make sure you book in advance so not to be disappointed. Will visit again!

Food was nice , but took a long time to be even noticed at the bar , ordered sunday dinners and was given no veg , asked a member of staff for veg again and non turned up ,,

Great place, staff and food. There are gluten free options in both food and beer. Was crazy busy in the Gallery but nice and quiet in the bar. Will certainly be back.

Lovely meal, polite staff would visit again

Lovely food, great salads, all fresh and delicious Service was spot on with helpful friendly staff. Organic wine was good too, even the decaf coffee was lovely! Will be back soon.

Very disappointed. We waited a long time for each course the starters were good, when the main courses eventually came the roasts were good but one of our party had a burger but that was overcooked, there was a lot of staff about but nobody taking notice when we wanted them. Asked for dessert there were 2 missing the ones we wanted and it wasn’t late 3 asked for coffee but the machine was broken but could have instant, then another member of staff came and said we couldn’t? Everything took along time even the children were getting board and they had a play area. More organisation 2 1/2 hours for Sunday dinner !

Our first time eating at the Shepherds Rest, and it won't be our last. Had the Sunday Roast, which was really delicious and good value. All of the staff were terrific too - helpful, friendly and welcoming.

Just had another excellent meal here. Great food, great service and excellent staff! It’s great to see so many young people obviously enjoying the work they are doing there (not just waiting on but in all key roles). It’s become our favourite place to eat in Todmorden!
