Weekday lunch. Food was excellent Staff very helpful, pleasant and polite. Never disappointed here

I visited on Sunday 16/07/23 at 7pm, this has got to be one of the BEST roast beef dinner I have had in a long time! I have been many times before and I cannot fault the quality of food or service! As a small negative... It would have been nice to know they can do an offer of 1 course, £13.50; 2 courses, £18.95; 3 courses, £22.50 as I never saw anything promoting this at the restaurant but I see it is here on the SugarVine website. Apologies if it is advertised at the restaurant but I didn't see it and nor was I told about it.

Took two German guests here and had a very sociable evening. Excellent pizzas, served in much better time than in the past. Napolitana generously flavoured - though if you don't like anchovies like I do you might ask for them to be omitted - and my wife thought her Margerita the best she's had here. Salads generous, affogato beautifully served and the coffee element strong. Good selection of cocktails - I had two and enjoyed both - Cosmopolitan and the one that sounds like Dackery that I can't spell. I'm a man of simple tastes and at The Site there are plenty of them. Very cheerful service team, too. Thanks you.

After having a great meal here a week or 2 ago with family we thought we would try it again on a Sunday. WARNING! Don’t go on a Sunday evening. They had pretty much run out of everything so the menu was VERY limited and they wouldn’t allow us to order of the other menu that had more to offer. Surely if most of the Sunday Menu has sold out, you could consider allowing people to order other food. If we didn’t have 2 hungry kids with us, I would have walked out

Never visited before but beautiful views in such a lovely area. Staff lovely and friendly, pub nice and clean. 6 of us for Sunday lunch, 4 of us had Sunday lunch beef and one had pork. My friend is vegan not much choice but managed to find her something to eat. The beef was very over cooked like a pair of old boots and the two tiny roast potatoes were also over cooked and burnt. The veg was lovely and the gravy amazing. Disappointing as the pub was recommended, perhaps it was because it was busy?

Fantastic menu and atmosphere. We came for Sunday lunch, i had the roast beef then an ice cream sundae and my husband had the surf and turf special followed by baileys cheese cake. We has 2 of our children with us and they had kids meals followed by ice cream. The food was amazing and lots of it at very good value for money. We will definetly be back to try more it's on the menu. Staff were friendly, helpful and didn't crowd us. After the meal our kids played jn the outside play area which they lived and didn't want to leave.

We’ve been coming to Site since it first opened and have never had a bad meal. Always freshly cooked and served piping hot. The thin crust pizzas are perfect, lots of toppings and I love the tiny peppers. Staff are always happy to customise pizzas as we’re veggie. Good wines, gorgeous deserts and cocktails. Lovely and cosy in the winter with the wood burner and delightful courtyard for alfresco summer dining. Jess and her team do a brilliant job. Always a friendly welcome and Matt is the best pizza chef. I’m really glad we’ve got Site Pizza here in Todmorden we love eating here.

I had high expectations as my friends recommended and said it was really good. We arrived and was placed in the back room out the way. We was practically ignored by staff after the food order was made. I never got asked once if everything (food) was OK until we was leaving when I made a complaint about being overcharged on my bill by £13. The coke was flat also. Service was very poor I had to ask twice if I could have another drink and my partners drink was forgot about I had to ask for it again and still took ages to finally get to the table. Food was good its a shame about everything else.

In my opinion, between Hardie’s and Site, you just won’t find another place as good in Todmorden. I’ve been countless time to site, and each and every time I am blown away by just how good to food is, the value of the food is. The friendliness and professionalism from the staff is exceptional, even when they’re under mass amounts of pressure like a stinking hot day and a full house was yesterday. Attentive, smiley and polite. We had a table of 6 and the food was brought out quickly, it was hot and delicious, the drinks were constantly flowing, and if you’ve not dined out in the secret garden on a Summer’s day - you are genuinely missing out. It’s a beautiful setting that feels truly magical. As always, thank you Site. I am sure we will see you again soon.
