There is nothing to fault with the Shepherds Inn - ordered the Yorkie board in advance which was excellent. My wife has a garlic intolerance which meant they adapted the board by replacing roasties with mash. Food was excellent - service was even better. The only small thing that could be improved on the food was the red cabbage could have done with a couple of more mins

What a great find! I am so sad I have not been before now. Outstanding pizza with very authentic Italian touches like Taleggio cheese - simply the best. Thin crust, perfect topping. Great service Kalamata olives just for me. Very good wine. And all great value

We were 7 adults + 1 toddler all there for a birthday celebration. The food was fantastic,I recommend the Shepherds Pie. Great play area for the little ones. I must give a special mention to our waiter, sorry didn't get his name, it was very busy and he was run off his feet but always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. He was very attentive. All in all great location, fabulous food and outstanding staff..

Six of us had a lovely Sunday roast. I cocked up with my booking ( wrong shepherds rest) but thank you to the lady in charge who managed to sort us a table. Loved the male voice choir. The staff were all lovely thank you all. Robert

We had a Sunday roast here yesterday. The food was delicious, every member of staff were so friendly & attentive. We have a toddler so after lunch we enjoyed some drinks outside while he enjoyed the playground. It’s a great set up. Will defo be back again.

Highly recommend the Shepherds Rest Inn. We were a party of 22 and were accommodated perfectly in our own room. We preordered our food and all 22 meals came out at the same time piping hot and delicious. The staff were extremely attentive and looked after us all brilliantly. Amazing!

We went for a late lunch on Saturday. Everything was lovely as were the staff. Please be aware that they can only accept cash tips so go prepared. We only had a card - no cash between the three of us - so that felt a bit weird - to leave without tipping.

Booked a table on line very easy picked a time slot ,table was ready on arrival the food was very good,the staff very helpful no negatives will visit again

Stayed over in motorhome and had a fabulous meal and drinks. Lovely views, food very tasty and staff were lovely. Our meals took a while to come out but the staff explained that they had had a very large party in and were very sorry for our wait and brought out a plate of olives, hummus and breads for free. Will definetly stay sgain soon

Starters excellent (soup, halloumi, goat’s cheese). Mains good including outstanding onion rings and sirloin. Portions so generous we felt a bit bad at leaving so much.
