Excellent Sunday roast, excellent staff, relaxing atmosphere, well worth a visit.

Had a brilliant meal in the quaint restaurant. Staff were super friendly and checked in with us if we needed anything. We were seated in the main bar area which was cosy. When we book again I'd request the main restaurant and to be seated by the windows. I've heard great reviews about the view from here. Well worth the hour journey from where we live

Took my hubby for a 'date night'. He isn't a fan of pizza (doesn't like the tomato sauce), so was really pleased that there was a pizza on the menu without tomato sauce. This was my second time visiting in a week, as my auntie had taken me to site as a late birthday celebration. Loved the food, atmosphere and the staff are lovely. Will see you again very soon.

This place never lets me down. The service, food and atmosphere is superb. You will not be disappointed highly recommended

Took my niece for lunch on Saturday with a friend and had a fabulous time - great staff who were friendly and helpful, wonderful pizza (and I'm not really a pizza fan) and just so good to relax and enjoy our time together. Service was faultless, with food delivered as it was freshly made - and so delicious. My niece is going to take her hubby there soon as she enjoyed it. And we will be back soon.

I have been going to Site pizzeria for many years, the food is always lovely, especially the Napoletana pizza and there are good choices of specials and great tiramisù. Lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend

Food was excellent, we had roasts & fish & chips between us plus starters. Service was very solid despite them being very busy. Only blight was a table with screaming kids running around & ignorant parents which I don't hold against the Shepherd's Rest staff, just unfortunate. Overall though, another great experience and we'll be back - thanks!

Our favourite place to visit, always service with a smile. The staff can't ever do enough for you and the young man serving us was wise beyond his years and clearly a seasoned vet working in the restaurant. We will be back.

Lovely meal and atmosphere - very pleasant staff. Looking forward to further visits.

We arrived on time but our table wasn't available, a good sign that they don't rush people out. They ushered us to a bar table to order drinks and wait. Very polite and helpful staff. 15 mins and we were ushered to our dining table. The food is cooked fresh from being ordered so 1/2 hours was a reasonable wait. Good size portions and well presented delicious food, veg not over-cooked. We had a noisy baby with us and the staff were fine about that and warmed the baby food for us. My second visit and will go again as it is very local.

Food was really good. Sunday dinners are lovely. Great service. Didn't wait long.
