We came in today for a Sunday roast and it was the best roast we have ever had out at a pub/ restaurant- the sirloin of beef was amazing, as was the cauliflower cheese- service impeccable and atmosphere brilliant! The log burner was an added bonus! Xx cannot recommend enough!

Delicious Sunday roast. Great atmosphere. Good value.

This was our second visit. We are not local, we were in the area visiting friends. The service was excellent. The menu is not huge but a good selection. Previously I'd had the vegetarian mushroom burger, this time the pulled pork. Both delicious. We all throughly enjoyed our time at the Plough and the magic performed for our little person. Excellent value, will definitely visit again when we're in the area and would highly recommend. Thank you are a great evening.

Hi was our second visit to the Plough, we're not local, we were visiting friends. Service is outstanding, so friendly. Menu is small, but delicious. Very generous portions, you will not leave hungry! Very reasonably priced. If we lived closer, we'd visit regularly. Thanks for our great experience and the magic for our little guest

We received a really friendly welcome. Fir a Thursday evening the pub was cosy with a little fire, twinkly lights etc. My friend and I both had the fish & chips. Absolutely delicious and a generous portion. A really lovely evening for a friend's birthday, didn't dissapoint & we will return. Thank you to such a lovely team.

Great roast dinner!

No matter what sized group we are with we have always found the Plough to be a place for great food, friendly and efficient service, lovely surroundings, plenty of parking and all at a very reasonable price. It's no wonder we keep going back.

Wow ! What can I say except this was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a country pub/ restaurant. We booked tables for 25 people after paying a small deposit which we were happy to do obviously large party nobody wants to be let down for any cancellations . Also a point we really struggled to get a table for this amount any where else as wouldn’t take the booking !! As we arrived a quite a bit early for our table ( one hour)our previous event hadn’t taken as long as we thought , firstly we sat in the beautiful garden unfortunately it started to rain so they came out and said your welcome to sit in the barn while you wait, It is stunning with all its fairy lights well as we were so settled they ended up saying do you want to stay in here and eat and proceeded to bring heaters out to warm us . It was perfect. From start the finish the communication was great , emails from the Bar manager Darren who was an absolute pleasure to meet , we pre-chose our food, so they had an idea of what everyone wanted, to avoid disappointment! We were a mixture of 5 different groups/families and they were happy to do all bills separately which made life easy us instead of trying to divide the bill all up ourselves. The Food was fantastic complements to the chef , we all had an assortment of different meals from starters to roasts , burgers etc all brought out hot and in good time by lovely friendly staff . Nobody felt rushed just perfectly relaxed . I would highly recommend the Plough for all your celebrations it’s a pure gem just up from the beautiful village of Leigh . Another bonus my daughter and son in law are looking for a wedding venue and think they have found their perfect venue. Thankyou again to all the staff for making what was a very hard day scattering my Dads ashes an absolutely wonderful day to remember.

We went for a birthday celebration meal. Everything was perfect. Food and service excellent.

Keep going back, one of the best Sunday roasts, never been disappointed.

I had a post Christening party at The Plough. Everything was brilliant from the booking, menu selection, setting, staff, hosting. We had quite a few children at the event and the garden area is suberb, perfect for little ones to run around allowing parents to watch and enjoy a drink. Staff and service were great, we had a pre selected lunch, all the food was great. Highly recommend this place, has a lovely atmosphere, a real gem of a country pub.

MY GUESTS AND I THOROUGHLY ENJOYED OUR CHOICES FOR LUNCH ON 09.09.25 SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT AND STAFF VERY PLEASANT INDEED AS IT WAS A LOVELY DAY MOST OF YOUR CUSTOMERS WERE OUTSIDE SO BEING I THINK, THE ONLY PEOPLE INSIDE, IT LACKED SOME ATMOSPHERE THOUGH TO BE IN SUCH A VERY OLD BUILDING WAS GREAT

We had a lovely time on Sunday at The Plough, impeccable service and top notch food . Probably one of the best pub roasts we have ever had. Pity they don't do Christmas dinner on Christmas day, we would have booked. Highly recommended, it's also a lovely walk from Tonbridge through the park and out the back towards the woods.

If you are looking for a traditional English pub look no further. I booked online from Canada for my dad’s 70th birthday, they followed up with a confirmation email and call to discuss birthday options. On the day they were ready for us we had amazing service, incredible food and most of all a special birthday celebration where they brought desert while singing happy birthday ! I would recommend to everyone !

Our second time having a Sunday roast at the Plough and it was just as good as the first time. Wonderful service, superb food and a great portion size with lots of meat and veg. Dog friendly. We will definitely be going back.

A lovely pub with unpretentious menu full of typical fayre for a Sunday lunchtime. Hosts very welcoming with excellent service. Food vary tasty and enjoyed by us all. Will definitely revisit.
