I love this pub, a lovely walk from Tonbridge, friendly helpful staff good selection of drink, house red could be better and a better selection of wine, but that's a minor grumble. Food is top notch and the atmosphere great, just like the good old days of country pubs. They are battling with The Nelson Arms to be my favourite local!

The food, service, atmosphere were all excellent and the restaurant was very busy.

We recently visited The Plough in Leigh for Sunday lunch and had a great experience. The food was fantastic. Our entire party ordered the beef roast, and the quality of the meal—along with the generous portion sizes—was truly outstanding. I also appreciated the efficient and user-friendly online booking system. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and we will certainly be returning.

The food at the Plough &Barn was wonderful and would certainly recommend. Service was also excellent.

We had a lovely meal with friendly service. I had the turkey pie which was delicious. And the sticky toffee pudding that followed was amazing. A pleasant evening catching up with friends in a country pub with a roaring fire. What's not to like!

We were given a warm welcome by the helpful and friendly staff who looked after us with great care throughout our excellent lunch at this comfortable and atmospheric old pub. Born in Kent but now living in Devon, if I could pick this place up and set it down as my new local I would happily do so tomorrow. Good pub food, excellent beer, usefully imaginative veggie options, great team. Just what we were looking for to celebrate a small family occasion. Many thanks to you all.

Went for lunch with my brother and his dog. I’m vegetarian/pescatarian and was happy to see there were some good choices on the menu. I chose a very enjoyable mushroom and feta burger which came with a mountain of freshly cooked skinny fries. My brother had the sausage ciabatta, which he said was good, and we shared my fries.

What an enjoyable time we had at the Plough we were looked after the service was great the food was great there was plenty of it and well worth the money.

Lovely delicious roast dinner and desserts. Staff friendly and efficient. We were a large group with 5 children and a dog, and staff were patient and friendly. Authentic pub with roaring, warm ing fire. Would definitely recommend. We all enjoyed.

Absolutely brilliant Sunday lunch to celebrate a special birthday. Food was delicious. Range of choices. Going to have to go back and try something else on the menu. 100% recommend the brownie

We had our first family Sunday lunch this weekend, with our 7 and 10 year olds. The pub is wonderful, a warm welcome, food lovely, attentive staff, and excellent kids menu. Our 7 year old wanted us to write this review ‘I give the Plough 5 stars!’. We look forward to our next visit.

Could not fault the food at all. Had a very enjoyable roast, the burger was great and the chips are to die for! Great value for money, would have happily paid more.

We came in today for a Sunday roast and it was the best roast we have ever had out at a pub/ restaurant- the sirloin of beef was amazing, as was the cauliflower cheese- service impeccable and atmosphere brilliant! The log burner was an added bonus! Xx cannot recommend enough!
