The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWent for a catch up with friends on 27th April 2023 in their dining area.....the staff were so friendly and accomodating and gave us plenty of options for vegetarian and Gluten Free food......the lunchtime saver was such good value at £12 for 2 courses and £15 for 3 courses......the food was amazing - nice and hot and tasty and just enough to fill you up but not make you uncomfortable.......we love it there cos they never rush you to leave the table so we were able to chat for hours.......the car parking is good and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm...we will definetly go back time & time again, especially if their cavery returns mid week...thank you.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamWe booked a table for my work leaving meal on the 14th April 2023. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful or attentive. Food arrived promptly and it was all hot and very tasty! They managed to get all 21 meals correct, even with a few requests thrown in (no coleslaw, fries instead of chips etc) and everything was spot on. Plenty of space for everyone and the restaurant was very clean. I would definitely come back.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamReally enjoyed the meal. I had a Sunday lunch, along with the rest of my family, and the quality was great with plenty of it. The service was prompt, and the staff were all nice. The only (small) gripe I have is that I think the tables in the middle of the dining area are too small for four people. All in all though, we all had a great lunch and I’m looking forward to next year, when I will be staying locally and we will be booking another meal.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthNot the best evening meal we have been for. Booked a table in advanced which was fine we were seated quickly but the whole environment was noisy. Food came out quite quickly but wasn’t anything to write home about. It’s a bit like a better quality weather spoons with slightly higher prices.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthWe had a fabulous Easter Sunday meal here at the Three Tuns. Great team, great food and a most enjoyable afternoon , thank you for looking after us !!. A must visit when in Hay on Wye. Dog friendly , chilled lovely old pub.
Three Tuns – Hay On WyeHad Sunday dinner with our daughters and their partners and the food was delicious with good service, lovely pub.
Royal Oak – WrexhamLovely staff and surroundings. The food quite bland and average which is a shame as it could be really special. It would be good if there was a wider choice of wines and also local ales would really suit this setting.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthTook an hour to deliver tasteless microwaved chilli and chips. Welsh rarebit was cold and inedible . Would not return it ever recommend. Complained but met with shrugged shoulders
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthHad a lovely lunch outside in the beer garden; 7 of us with with our 3 ‘well behaved’ dogs. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Food tasty and the pub was really well presented. Glad we arrived for midday and ate early as got really busy with families after 1pm.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat meal! Food was delicious and arrived efficiently despite the pub being busy. Kids meals were a great size and there was plenty of choice. Salt and chilli chips were the best we have eaten!
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat service and lovely food, definitely worth a visit
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthIt was very busy when we arrived, had to wait in a long queue for drinks, then again to find our table…..then again to order our food. Food was ok but really just pub food.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthLunch menu was lovely and light and very reasonably priced. Lovely quiet, calm atmosphere. It was exactly what we needed. Thank you
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamReally enjoyed our visit. Roast Lamb was superb as usual. So was the rhubarb and apple crumble. Complements to the chef. Already looking forward to our next visit. Paul and Sandra Foster.
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthGreat place to visit, warm atmosphere, friendly service, lovely food and nice views! Thank you!
Royal Oak – WrexhamI t was really good to go to H/L again. We were a little disappointed with a couple aspects of the food, ie: Mushroom starter was practically cold, and far too many bones in the fish of one diner. Other wise OK. The young waitress was a delight to talk to and obviously covering the restaurant on her own. Well done.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamMyself and my husband had gone away for couple of days and decided to book at The Victoria Inn for Sunday lunch as we have been before a couple of years ago and it was excellent. We were not disappointed this time either It is by far the best Sunday roast we have ever eaten out. Would highly recommend!
