Chrissies – ConwyA great overall restaurant. Good for families as well as it has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff are really helpful and curteous to customers. The food is of very high standard and supports local produce. Home made recipes. Very good portion sizes of meals and excellent value for money. Overall wonderful place to visit.
Black Boy Inn – CaernarfonThe food here is of high standard. They supports local produce. Very relaxed environment for all types of customers. Good portions, great value for money.
Glyntwrog Inn – CaernarfonVisited this restaurant twice now each time we have passed through Conway. and not been disappointed. Mussels fine and lamb soup with lovely bread and small helping of cheese great. As was fish dish my wife had. The staff are most helpful. Keep up the good standard. Will be back SAP.
Chrissies – ConwyVery poor when with my boy food was not nice sent it back waitting over one hour one lady had hair in her pudding would not go back there
The Squire Yorke – WrexhamNice pub good food but staff need more training using the till as they got our food order wrong twice x
Stanley Arms – HolyheadJust gone back after a few years. How its changed service, awful food, over priced. Offered two pounds off not enough, spoilt our last night. Other customers unhappy go elsewhere.
Granvilles Restaurant – PorthmadogBrilliant chip shop would recommend.
Karls Fish and Chip Shop – PrestatynI was recommend the restaurant by friend who lives close by. On entering the restaurant I was shocked how we were not greeted and had to ask where our seat was, we then had to ask for a menu and then went back to ask to order drinks where the staff seemed to be standing around talking and gossiping. Eventually we got our drinks after the bottle of wine being put on the table without a glass! The food was awful just basic slop being served and the staff didn't even acknowledge that you were there. Hence to say wont be going back, I have never wrote a review good or bad, but this experience was so bad I had to write something.
The Plassey Shippon Restaurant – WrexhamThere is a good pint of beer in the Britannia and a very fun landlady called Linda and she makes people welcome to the pub. The best pub in Denbigh.
Britannia Inn – DenbighThe initial joy of finding a gluten-free restaurant turned a little sour as the meal wore on on a hot July evening. My husband's first lager was served at room temperature?? He then asked the waitress to put the second lager in the freezer-which was done. My father-in-law bit on something chilli hot in his salad so couldn't finish it. My husbands mussel portion was rather small for the price so regarded as poor value for money....this a shame because the decor and attitude is good-it just failed to deliver the goods....the following day I was unwell so wonder if the chips were in fact gluten-free I was informed they have to be as the chef is gluten intolerant but I'm left wondering...:-(
Chrissies – ConwyWhat a superbly unpretentious restaurant. Lunched there June 2013 and can honestly say - having lived and eaten(!) in France for 10 years - that it's probably the best seafood we've come across anywhere within 90 miles of Chester. No faffing with decor or posh service. This is just outstandingly fresh food. P.S. my usual day off is Monday (when The Lobster Pot is closed). I am seriously tempted to change my free day!!
The Lobster Pot Seafood Restaurant – HolyheadFantastic and relaxing atmosphere. Food was excellent, and the surrounding scenery was marvellous. Would certainly go again. Recommended 5 stars.
Harrys Bistro – AngleseyGreat place to enjoy excellent food in a friendly atmosphere with staff who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourself and remember the occasion. Recommend the Beef Carbonnade.
Chrissies – ConwyThis is such a lovely place to eat drink and meet people. The staff are so friendly, the environment is relaxing with a natural spring, the food is spot on and on Tuesday evenings there is live local music. Can't wait to go again :-D
The Last Inn – BarmouthCalled in for a meal on way to Holyhead on our return to Ireland last week. Was thrilled to bits to see all the cat ornaments, as I am a cat lover, and we were both very impressed with the service, friendliness, excellent food and cleanliness. Thank you so much for a lovely memory!
Country Cooks Ty Nant – LlangollenMy family and i have always enjoyed dining at the mayquay but we recently went there over easter and the food has seriously gone downhill since last year. what a shame because it's a nice pub.
