We have visited the Holt Lodge several times now and never been disappointed. The food and the service are excellent and great value for money. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you.We will definitely be returning.

His charming partner Antonella runs front of house and explains every dish as it is served. Being a small restaurant the atmosphere is warm and friendly. We also had a fantastic bottle of wine! We will definitely be returning.

Y Sgwar – PorthmadogI just love going to the Holt Lodge...the staff are so friendly and never ever rush you so that they can use the table again....the food there is so nice too....their cavery is fabulous - lots of vegetable and meat choices and it is cooked so well and you can help yourself to the veg .....their lunchtime menu is very good value and although the portions are smaller than normal, if you have 3 courses, you are very satisfied at the end of the meal.....they cater for all allergies (I'm gluten intolerant) and they always find alternatives for you to eat....their chocolate fondant pudding is so delicious with pouring cream.....I cannot fault this hotel and have been returning year after year for the last 40 + years...even had my wedding reception there which was fabulous.

Every plate is a masterpiece to look at with exciting and well blended flavours. The service is 100% with Antonella's wonderful personality explaining every detail in the dish. Eating here is not a normal meal. It is a beautiful dining experience. Visit once & you will go back again & again. Have been many times and always leave feeling more like friends than customers.

The food is outstanding I had Mussels in a rarebit sauce to start that came served on lovely bread followed by Halibut which was outstanding. Our group of 4 all enjoyed their food and we will return soon.
