Sunday lunch carvery was excellent. Best beef I have tasted of late. Good choice of vegetables and lashings of gravy. Service was very good. Plenty of diners so there was a good atmosphere. All in all very enjoyable.

Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamWe visited on a Sunday and chose the carvery. We were not disappointed. Plenty of choice with meat and vegetables. Friendly staff. Relaxed atmosphere. Glad we chose here.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamExcellent. Welcome - Excellent Food - Excellent Service - Excellent Will definitely be going back, nice to have a fish restaurant close by
Telfords Bistro – ConwySunday lunch. Have eaten here many times. Food excellent - good choice and plenty of vegetables, well cooked and hot. Service below par despite acknowledging the restaurant was very busy. New staff I think and no-one seemed to be in charge. Shown to our table by one waiter and ordered drinks which he didn't bring. Starter served by a different waitress who reordered drinks twice before they eventually arrived. Then another very efficient waitress took over our carvery and cleared away. A long wait for a dessert order brought by our original waiter. Staff need direction and a large room should be zoned so staff aren't just covering the whole room presumably at random. Will think twice before our next visit.
Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamWe were dining for the first time here and really enjoyed ourselves. The staff were lovely and we had great food
Telfords Bistro – ConwyExcellent meal on a cold Friday evening. My husband had the scallops and monkfish tail whilst I ordered the calamari and fish pie. We shared our plates. The scallops were tender and translucent in the middle. My calamari was also tender and had a tasty crumb coating. Fish pie had lots of fish(!) and was very tasty. Monkfish well cooked and a good sized portion, complemented by the vegetables and sauce. Our meal was served at a good pace and the staff were friendly and attentive.

Telfords Bistro – ConwyWent on jan 6th. Food was amazing, service was friendly but not attentive. Had to ask for salt and pepper, had to ask for drink menu, after our first drink we were never offered another drink- took what could have been an amazing experience to an average one
Telfords Bistro – ConwyIt was my 4th visit today. I absolutely love this restaurant, the owners, and their wonderful food. It's always a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, plus the food is imaginative and delicious without fail. I can't recommend highly enough! I look forward to visiting again, next time I'm in Barmouth.

Telfords Bistro – ConwyThis place was recommended to us and rightly so. Beautiful place, lovely people and fab food. We didn't take our dog but it is dog friendly and next time we wouldn't hesitate
The Victoria Inn – BarmouthAbsolutely loved Y Sgwar. Visited for lunch on NYE whilst staying in the area. I was attracted by the vegan options but had completely forgotten that it would be a Sunday and therefore the menu was different! However, the chef prepared a different starter and main for us - the most amazing vegetable wellington - without any fuss. The whole meal was delicious, and I just wish we'd been able to do the sticky toffee pudding justice! Service and atmosphere both great and will definitely return if in the area again.
