Fabulous food and great service can not recommend it enough

Excellent food and atmosphere. My only slight gripe was where I was seated I was asked by staff serving and customers to move my chair in several times so they could pass, so the space was a bit tight. We had a starter of Baked Camembert to share then fabulous mains of Duck and Herb Crusted Cod followed by ice cream to share. Food was excellent.

Excellent Sunday carvery yesterday. Food nicely cooked and it was hot. Staff very friendly and pleasant.

Not knowing the area, we chose this restaurant by chance to celebrate Valentine's Day. What a sumptuous meal and delicious wine, my scallops were divine(a late convert for me)and our individual fish dishes were a dream to eat. The biggest yes was for the inclusion and fusion of the vegetables into each dish, to achieve a real wow factor. We will visit again and that is a promise.

Called in at the "Oak" for Sunday Lunch and were not disappointed. Everything about the visit in this dog friendly establishment was excellent, food, service and ambience and we would certainly recommend the pub to anyone who may never have tried it. Well done to all the team, I can assure you that we will be back.

I cannot praise the place enough. The food was excellent and the staff serving are very very good. Matthew and Dan looked after us and the service was top notch. We will certainly be going again.

Service was next to none. We returned here two days in a row. The first night the owner gave us our drinks on the house due to noise next to out table. We returned for Sunday dinner which was amazing. Would definitely return. Thank you

All four of us in our party agreed that the food was first class,a very good variety on the menu , pleasing presentation on the plate,very tasty flavours with good sized portions. Relaxed atmosphere . Excellent, friendly and attentive service. It was value for money because the food, the service and the atmosphere was perfect for our familys dining experience. Diolch.

Well, where to start. It was a cold and stormy night... We had booked a restaurant to celebrate our 24 years of being together on a whim with no knowledge of what it was like or even where it was in relation to our hotel stay in Porthmadog. But! It was fabulous, and I mean in every single way. Yol (apologies if misspelt!) was the best host ever and made it all so enjoyable. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We are definitely going to go back again and as soon as we can. I can't recommend this restaurant enough.
