The Clwydian – PrestatynGreat fish and chips, lovely baby changing facilities, very friendly staff.
Tribells Fish Restaurant – Llandudno100% agree with the comments by others. Indiana Cuisine in Fairbourne is a hidden Gem! This place surpasses all the top so called Indian curry houses. The food ,service and their hospitality is unmatched. And I am yet to meet any other business owners who are celebrities and so HUMBLE! TRUST ME IT IS A MUST!!!
Indiana Cuisine – DolgellauI have been going to the Bistro for many years, the food is fantastic, the staff cant do enough to make you welcome. Also the chef will go out of his way for anyone who has a dietary need.Family's are always welcome there, and i would recommend it to anyone who is anyone.
The Bistro – RhylI went to the Nags Head this weekend... Food an atmosphere was fantastic....Great family pub... I would recommend this to anybody.. I will be visiting again in a few weeks... Cant wait!!!
The Nags Head Inn – WrexhamExcellent food and real ales as well as beers wines and spirits. I went on a Saturday night and watched a live band. I had a thoroughly good night out. For a quieter time visit during the week. They also serve food all day 'til 8pm.
The Ship Inn – PorthmadogThis place has changed hands and is now called Zeera. Although there are not many Vegetarian options, they unusually offer to make any veggie side dish a main meal for and extra £1 which is good news. The food is one of the best I have tasted for ages. They do not over colour or over oil, and made my husband a special Vegan meal. They were polite and pleasant and I am looking forward to visiting there again. Good range of desserts too.
Zeera – Llandrindod WellsPretty, cosy pub with wonderful food and atmosphere - highly recommended!!!
Pwllgloyw Arms – BreconBeautiful sunny weather overlooking sea front (alas) this friendly Greek eatery was a welcome change from gastro pub. Mezes starter small masses what was the large like real home made pitta bread. Partner had klefitko melt in the mouth mine was bad choice had fried vegetables mostly aubergine and kalamari. Desserts big but gave you a doggy bag. Had Mythos beer rather than wine.
The Olive Branch Greek Taverna Coffee Shop – Aberystwythby far the best pub in rhyl. the locals are very friendly and the atmosphere is electric
The Queens Arms – RhylThis is one of the most delightful places myself and my wife have stayed. It is a lovely friendly place with great staff and very welcoming landlord/lady. Rooms are more very snug and comfortable, but not en suite, but what does that matter, I am sure you can do without for a couple of days. Food is out of this world, if you can eat the full breakfast well God help you. Great all round, brilliant, 5star.
Bull Hotel – Abergelehighest recommendation. I have yet to across a Indian restaurant that is so complete in all that they do. The food is absolutely Divine..The real taste of India and the service with the smile is exceptional. It is a must for all that love top dinning. I met people who had travelled 40 miles just for their food!! *****
Indiana Cuisine – DolgellauBwyd Bendigedig :-) Wonderful food :-) looking forward to the next visit.
Bunkers Bistro – ConwyMay 2010. Found this pub in a popular pub guide book and thought we would give it a try on a Sunday evening. Very busy especially outside with plenty tables and chairs to sit at with lovely views some situated next to the sea. On entering the pub there is a family room on the left and main bar area on the right. Menu is relatively varied with a focus on fish dishes as you would expect. To eat we tried smoked mussels in a creamy sauce accompanied with chefs bread both nice, swordfish steak in peppercorn sauce (very peppery) which slightly overpowered the fish but still tasty, fish pie and fish & chips both dishes we were slightly disappointed with due to lack of seasoning/taste
The Ship Inn – AngleseyExcellent Greek food, including a wonderful choice of vegetarian dishes. Wine at a reasonable cost. A good central location for watching the world go by.
The Olive Branch Greek Taverna Coffee Shop – AberystwythDon't eat Here - never had food though, but a few pints - one night I arrived at the Ship Inn went into the bar area, and ask for a pint of lager - there was a very unpleasant SMELL orientating from the men's toilet which at the time I uncomfortable ignored - I however mentioned this to the barman (Not the Publican licence holder) that the smell was unbearable and if the new Licence - really need to make a go of their business venture they should resolve the issue of the stale urine smell . - Tonight - 24/02010 at around 10:30 I and another 5 of my friends went into the Ship Inn -We were unable to order any pints of larger - as they had run out (On a Saturday!!) but this was not the only problem I had - the barman had informed the licences of my comment - and the landlady BANNED ME! - Saying they were trying to make this business work and the only reason that their pub smelt of stale urine was because people like me urinated on the floor! Anyway I will not be going back there because, first - I'm now BANNED!! Second they have no pints of lager to sell and thirdly it really dose smell of stale urine. Recommendations for pub meals in Porthmadog as of 24/04/2010 are The Pencei, The Spooner's (Ffestiniog Railway), and the Sportsman (very nice but expensive).
The Ship Inn – Porthmadoggood food great staff, love there cheesy chips
